I don't think I have any huge trades that I regret from my younger days. I have bought and sold the entire power 9 twice, so that's not great. My biggest win was when I traded an Orcish Squatters for a Beta Birds of Paradise. In my defense, they're both rares and the other guy was like 10 years older than me so I don't feel too bad. Do you have memorable trades to share?

Anyone with Magic-themed costumes this year?

Sold my Black Lotus to get some money for my first car 25 years ago. Today, I would get a really nice ride for that Black Lotus...

I’ve never had any of the Power9, but I used to have 4 Bayou, 4 Scrubland, and 4 Savannah (they were all Revised or Unlimited) in one deck along with 4 Fog, 4 Darkness, and 4 Holy Day. I sold the entire deck for a grand total of $100 back in 1999.

Fog and Darkness in the same deck? You must have been fun to play against!

Yeah, fun to play against is what my friends all said… in retrospect they all used to make air quotes when they said that.
