EXO's Winter Olympics Performance was an incredibly interesting mixture of different elements and speaks volumes to the influence of K-pop and EXO on South Korea.

Kai was actually injured during this performance, but he still pushed through and did amazing! This was HUGEEE moment of pride for EXO! Power was a huge hit for EXO, from being the only K-pop song to be played at the Dubai fountain show, to being performed at the Olympics to even being played at the FIFA World Cup! EXO apart from being called the Nation’s picks, they have also received medals from the Korean govt and were also invited to meet Trump (questionable but still a huge moment to be considered politically) when he was in presidency and visited Korea. And the Korean wave is called the Hallyu wave.

the Korean government is all about EXO, you'd wonder who's gonna replace EXO but it seems that Korea isn't ready for that yet, since Baekhyun just sang the Korean and US national anthem at the MLB this year as he sang it a few times along the years.

The cars were specially made for EXO's performance. It was really really cold that night and they had to perform in suits only.

Yasss exo did amazing!! I remember watching it live and being so proud!! Chanyeol said it was really cold when they performed so that's probably why they had the mr and it was more of a dance performance but I think I still heared a little bit of live singing. Thank you for reacting!! :)

What’s amazing about this is that they just finish 2 days concert in Japan. They arrive in Korea around 4 am in the morning and perform for this stage in the evening. Kai also injured his foot during this performance but they did amazing! They did not received any payment and the budget was really limited as this kind of event are gov related which use taxes that people pay. They even tried to cut cost on their wardrobe which during rehearsal they wear a total different outfit. But last minute Gucci offered to sponsored their wardrobe for this performance. It was a crazy and honoured time for them. They attend the press conference in bus, did firat rehearsal, then went to Japan. Back to Korea at dawn, went back to Pyeongchang, rehearsal and perform in the evening. Even worse it was at peak winter time. So much respect to them!
