Fun fact, while Taemin has been contributing to SHINee's choreo from pretty early on in their career, Tell me what to do is one of the ONLY SHINee choreos that he has choreography credit on.

HI Ana. We always read the chats and comments here on Patreon it's one of our main sources of infomation because of just how passionate and well-informed everyone here is. We can find so much info in our Patreon comment section that is sometimes not included in any normal articles either! We are actually planning on making next week a MAMA marathon week covering the MAMA 2025 performances.

Quick fact. Tell me what to do was Shinee last Korean comeback as five members. It was a repackage from 1 of 1 album. Mostly in 2017 was japanese release's and the start of solo works for everyone.

I also got into K-pop around this time, so maybe because of that nostalgia factor, I’m biased toward 2014–2017 K-pop, with 2015–2016 in particular standing out to me. Tell Me What To Do was one of the first SHINee songs I heard, and it was the song that got me into them because I liked it so much. They tend to have a more varied outfit selection for music and award shows compared to their concerts, and I think these fits suit them really well. Jonghyun took part in producing Prism. Fun fact: the A&R and production team that SHINee is part of at SM is also called Prism. (SM has multiple teams that different groups are associated with; I believe WayV and Hearts2Hearts are also under Prism.) It’s true that they haven’t participated in many award or year-end shows lately, but that’s to be expected since they haven’t had a major comeback since HARD. (The last time they appeared on a big show was MMA 2023, which you’ve seen.) You can watch their performances at the Golden Disc Awards, which I believe is the show they appeared on the most. There’s a full compilation from 2013–2016, including Jonghyun and Taemin solo stages: https://youtu.be/_ZyHjhNCrQQ Or, if you want something more recent, Key appeared on Gayo Daejeon in 2021 and 2024 as a soloist: 2021 (Helium + Bad Love): https://youtu.be/DcDaa-bCyFo 2024 (Pleasure Shop): https://youtu.be/qS2gRz40kaI
