YG had a very low budget back then. Dara talked about it in on Eric Nam's podcast and said that her, Taeyang, and GD would often get invited out by Se7en for meals because otherwise they wouldn't be able to eat properly, and GD&Taeyang further expanded on it in their appearance on happy together (which I don't believe you've reacted to?) I'm not too sure about how it was during this documentary's filming though.

Song Baekyoung (the one evaluating GD’s song) is not the recording engineer. He’s a senior from YG, part of hip hop group 1TYM. “This Love” only features GD. It’s also in BigBang’s first single with “We Belong Together”. The video on YouTube is the official MV - different from the version in this docu.
