We were definitely not expecting this much of a banger EP!! This was such a refreshingly cool sound from ONEW. It definitely had that signature ONEW sound that we’ve come to love, we can tell that he and his team put a lot of effort and love into this, and as such, it will be well received within the fandom.

Thank you for listening to Onew’s Tough Love album. So glad that both of you liked the album the same as the whole SHAWOL and Onew biased super like the album. This album is super special because all of the songs are composed by Onew as well as he is also one of the producer. Hope you can react to his live contents for Tough Love in Dingo as well as his music show performances because after 3 years he went back to music shows to promote Tough Love and he sang live with dance steps. Also, SHINee is Back. They will have their SHINee World concert 8 on May 29-31 in line with their 18th anniv its a trilogy so there’s a lot of suprises also they will have an upcoming album as part of it. Lastly, if you are also interested in knowing SHINee’s personalities please do watch their reality shows like Hello Baby and SHINee One fine day (Wonderfuly Life) they are very funny and very entertaining. Again, thank you for continuously appreciating and reacting to our SHINee because they are so underrated but with high quality talent.

Thank you for reacting to Onew's Tough Love EP. I like Jinki's SM solo too, but I really love Griffin's solo. (Album in Griffin: FLOW - CONNECTION - PERCENT - Tough Love) After moving to Griffin, he is involved in the creation of all the songs. Check out the lyrics and composition of this album. You'll probably be pleasantly surprised! My ranking for this album 1. Dot dot dot 2. Tough Love, Lies 3. X, Oh Why? 4. Flex on me Of course, I love all the songs. Jinki sings full highlight medley and tough love on dingo live. +a highlight medley https://youtu.be/i1eae_yFPyo?si=hdB4rtHcpjZk9Dog +Tough love https://youtu.be/WixsP-V18Pk?si=xxBzLT1sGAdfCzLK +It's live https://youtu.be/dvAF32mXG40?si=TDzDe-0d8EcB8WCi And he put on a dance performance in four stages. +https://youtu.be/w2Rj2LG9yg4?si=dfRZvYXjhDrGfPnY +https://youtu.be/sKBBOalCwQk?si=DhjwmVUXdXU5LKwh +https://youtu.be/hAM7cPgKd8s?si=HH2KgBo81hFq8cpe +https://youtu.be/aLRKHKy8vDQ?si=PXuADVGGQMwkPvPU

I feel like I unintentionally contributed to shaping your image of Onew’s music by recommending the Circle album back then, since it was your first encounter :D It’s on the more chill and mellow side of his discography. Many fans love it, me included. But even with SM, he had a more upbeat release like Dice (2nd EP), and all of his releases under Griffin have been quite different from each other. I think the biggest evolution, and what I liked the most, is that starting with Flow, and especially with the last two albums Percent and Tough Love, the songs feel bolder in the sense that they don’t limit Onew’s vocals as much as some of his previous albums or songs might have. He obviously has a versatile voice with a huge range, and I think these last couple of albums showcase it much better. There are also more interesting production choices, more ad-libs, vocal layering, runs, etc. This comeback is the first one in 3 years since Circle where Jinki has promoted on music shows. It’s also only the second one with Griffin, after “Beat Drum,” that has choreography, so definitely make sure to check out some live performances. “X, Oh Why?” also has choreography: https://youtu.be/9Kfm5J4cd4g As for my ranking: 1. Lie (this fits his voice so well) 2. X, Oh Why? (honestly interchangeable with “Lie” depending on my mood, this is such a SHINee-coded banger) 3. Tough Love 4. Flex On Me 5. Dot Dot Dot (...)

Speaking of other SHINee-related news, did you guys see that Taemin left BPM and joined Galaxy Corporation? Yes, the same label that G-Dragon is part of :D Hoping for a collab between two K-pop kings. He also recently released his first fully English song, “Long Way Home,” which seems like a strategically timed release just before his Coachella appearance. It’s been reported that more digital singles are planned to roll out consecutively (I’m guessing these could be part of a bigger upcoming album). Performance at the Jennifer Hudson Show: https://youtu.be/-YE8sUEBAqU And lastly, Minho released two digital Japanese singles, along with performances of both from his latest fan meeting: “Sunkissed” – https://youtu.be/BeSuBBKInQI “Flawless” – https://youtu.be/-abMg-6Fe1w
