I think the elimination episode will really surprise you 😅 Seungri was initially the lead dancer & vocalist - his voice really balances out the rest of the vocalists. But I felt he had to struggle to find his specialty, and eventually did excel in variety and emceeing, working especially hard on learning languages like Mandarin & Japanese, so he took on a lot of the stage and show banter as time went on.

Ahh it's so fun seeing all this again through your eyes. Seungri was my bias back then, and I agree he definitely gets overshadowed by the others in vocals and dance, but I've never found him expendable at all. His personality always was the main selling point back then imo, especially since the other guys were quite shy off stage, Seungri was always steering them through interviews and mc-ing during concerts. Also not to sound cornyyy but can I just thank you guys for being so honest with your reactions and just taking the group as they were. A lot of reactors censor this episode or any parts that Seungri appears, and I just appreciate that I can watch and enjoy BigBang as they were before it all happened :')
