Please start ENHYPEN AND HI season 1! It’s 4 episodes long on YouTube! They recorded it right after iland finished, basically it’s them arriving at their dorm and basically getting along and becoming closer within the few months before their debut, the final episode is about when they finally debut. So it’s just a buildup about how they build their bond tg and them working to debut and stuff! Really fun cute and emotional for a lot of us fans. I’d be so happy if you guys could watch it! It’s a need after finishing iland 🥹 thank you guys for the reaction! So glad I was able watch iland with you guys!

The biggest twist, Sunoo was always top in global votes but here in final he became the producer's top pick, Sunoo is essential to the team's balance. Thank you so much for the reaction, it was entertaining to watch!! 😊💕❤ I hope that someday I can see the continuation (Enhypen & Hi), the first episode it's like a continuación of this last espisode of iland.

I did vote while watching it live since the voting began on the show. Sunoo and Jay were my top picks but I did vote for most enhypen members at some point. The final rankings doesn't entirely reflect the popularity of the members at that time. The reason why sunoo's votes dropped was because us fans were scared jungwon won't make it to the group because he barely survived the previous round. We all panic voted jungwon and since sunoo was always first in global votes, we assumed he would still make it in atleast top 3, and ranks don't really matter as long as they debut. But that strategy backfired as most sunoo supporters believed the same and voted for jungwon, leading to him placing 8th. Thankfully the producers picked him. We believed heeseung, sunghoon and sunoo will rank high no matter what, and voted for members who we thought were necessary for the group but may not make it due to low votes. Heeseung's ranking didn't have much to do with whether or not the show was more vocal focused.

I think filming of I-LAND was from July-Sept 2020 - 3.5 to 4 months including a 3 week training camp between Part 1 and 2 so the audience could catch up. ENHYPEN only had a couple months to prepare before debuting. The members have occasionally shared it was a stressful time. SUNGHOON shared in a variety show interview (with SUNOO and JAY and the 2 hosts) that one time he had a big argument between him and the other 6 members before debut (it was 1 against 6). JAY said it's heartbreaking seeing SUNGHOON cry cos it's rare & when he does, it all comes flooding out at once. SUNGHOON went to HEESEUNG to talk it out and the situation calmed down. So the stress & pressure continued even after the cameras stopped rolling.

JAY speaks Japanese (self-taught via anime & listening to the radio). NI-KI and K spent New Years with JAY's family because international borders were closed due to the pandemic. I'm glad NI-KI and JAY are in the same group. NI-Ki was so young (14.5yo when I-LAND was filmed) and his family lived in Japan. JAY used to translate if NI-KI needed help. Immediately before & after debut, they spent time learning choreo together that other members had already learned during I-LAND e.g. Chamber 5

the live votes aren't necessarily a true reflection of popularity or talent either. they're arguably more of a reflection of who fans are worried won't make it in. a contestant's votes can rise and fall depending on how secure fans perceive their position to be. like, fans might think "omg jungwon isn't going to make it, we need to vote for him" while simultaneously thinking "sunoo is already so popular, he'll be fine." that doesn't necessarily mean jungwon is more popular than sunoo, it means his fans feel like he needs the votes more urgently
