Hey everyone, how are you all doing? Well, I'm full of anxiety here, you know? Making a game seems way easier in theory than in practice: a whole world full of activities to do and have fun with... But in reality, it's hours upon hours planning, writing, drawing, programming, testing, finding and fixing bugs, just so we can finally release something playable...

I wish we could do all this faster! Cap. Flash draws super convincing stick figures, but he's not great at writing scripts. Meanwhile, I know about as much programming as I do about building a next-gen supersonic atomic core! (Sounds tough, right?)

So our tasks are kinda split! We plan the game together, but the drawings and writing are on me, and the programming + "direction" are on him (he's the one who stops me from throwing intergalactic space monkeys into the MC's dreams).

He can only work once my part is ready, and both you and I can only play once his part is done. While he's coding, I keep drawing and writing so he can keep going, and eventually we can all play the little game!!!

It takes time, especially since we're still early in the project with limited resources.

But one thing we have in common is wanting to deliver quality stuff. Within our limits, of course — I'm nowhere near a Da Vinci, and he's not a senior programmer yet (it's way easier for him to become senior than for me to get close to Da Vinci... damn, why didn't I set the bar as "mediocre artist"? I'm an idiot... but art is subjective, right? So maybe I'm just "half-decent"? lol)

Back to the point: in a maximum of two weeks™ (maybe less) we'll bring a new playable version of Luciene's Life (v0.4), now including:

A new area: the casino, to earn extra money

Some spicy scenes bundled together

Then the next version (v0.5) will focus more on the MC's activities, side characters, and extra casino features!

And the one after that will kick off the actual H scenes :3

Deal? Nice, we really appreciate your understanding and ongoing support!!!
