For the bonus, little Fran could say something like "No! My last life! I have to start all over now!" while Vincent continues to play happily...

I can almost imagine the bonus either involving Vincent walking into a wall, or little Fran using a power glove (for that motion controls comparison).

Do you have siblings? If, so; are there any co-op parallells, possibly, between Fran with her bro/sis, and Vincent with…what'shisname (I don't know of the app saves unfinished text here, if back out to go check)?

How about a bonus panel of young Fran about to destroy the controller or console in rage and Vincent about to destroy the VR set? Then Fran's mom in the flashback and Fran of the present panic, yell something like "THAT COST A FORTUNE!" and rush to stop them. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
