My kids are pretty clear in the things they want from Santa (LEGO!) but I've seen posts from other moms trying to work out what the heck a wishlist item is.

Last year my friend's kid asked for a "full size train and bulldozer to destroy house".  It was so funny I wrote it down so I could ask her if I could use it this year.

I've also seen photos of wishlists that are all crudely scribbled URLs.

I threw these 3 things together to make a comic!

Originally I had the last item on the list as "That thing I saw on TV", but J suggested "Demin Chicken" which is something Charlie wishes for in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.  Even if you don't get the reference, it's still funny, so it was perfect!

I considered having the 6yo write the list for me, but a) his handwriting is still a bit hard to read and b) I couldn't risk him asking to see the "Christmas magic ruining" comic!  Instead I wrote out the list, using something he'd written for reference.

This is so accurate! One year, my daugher asked "Barbie's magic microphone" (from some Barbie movie). Then she specified that shedid not want the one sold in stores, but the actual magic microphone from the movie. When we told her how Santa will get it she said "Santa knows".
