Robot x human (sfw, fluffy) discord drabble (Patreon)

I announced on my discord that I'm doing some drabbles (only for a super short time), and here is the first.

“I have noticed that you have not had sufficient nutrients and water intake for the day,” the monotonous voice said from behind you, making you jump. 

You stared at the empty screen in front of you, knowing you should have finished the document by then, and - right on cue - your stomach growled. “Thanks, buddy,” you said. “You never forget, do you?”

“I am programmed to predict your requirements,” the robot said, taking all the romance out of the situation. 

With a sigh, you turned to face the glimmering chrome and pulsing neon robot, and looked up into its mask of a face. “Thanks anyway,” you mumbled, and as it handed you a perfectly prepared dish of your very favourite food, and touched you lightly on the shoulder, your heartrate leapt and you swallowed thickly. 

“You’re welcome, beloved,” the robot said, and something else seemed to creep into its voice as it spoke.
