Orctober #2 - 'mindless' - female orc x male reader (nsfw) (Patreon)

Heads up, there's a mega dose of familial prejudice against a non-human partner in this one. It's still got a good old fluffy ending though, because it's me...
I intended it to be much shorter, but the story ran away with me and I cared too much about the characters to keep it to my original 1-2k word plan. It's 4131 words.
I really hope you enjoy this one. It's been a while since I've done one with a female monster and a male reader, so I'm sorry. This one is another Patreon exclusive, but the next one will go up on Tumblr a day later.
When the reader's sister announces her wedding date, and he brings his orcish girlfriend to their small-town wedding, things get heated. Luckily for him, Khara is one chilled out, open-minded, awesome orc.
---
Her hand was on your thigh in a brief, chaste, affectionate squeeze the moment you’d climbed into her car. “How was work?” she asked in her husky, rich voice and you short circuited for a moment just seeing her again.
You’d only been dating for a month or so, but Khara had proven to be quite possibly the best thing that had ever happened to you. Admittedly you hadn’t actually told anyone back home that you were dating a six foot four orc, but you figured you’d get round to it at some point.
She’d introduced you to her family within about the first week, and you were already part of the clan it seemed. Her little brother was asking you for CV writing advice and her twin brother had put you through a series of subtle (and not so subtle) tests to see if you really did care for Khara. Apparently you’d passed with flying colours and they’d all laughed when you’d looked like you were about to pass out when you’d been told about it all.
You sighed. “Work sucked, as usual, but it was easier knowing I was going to see you afterwards,” you grinned, and she rolled her eyes and smacked you playfully with the back of her hand and laughed. A moment later she was leaning in to kiss you, her short, thick tusks nudging against your cheeks.
“Come on. Let’s go grab a beer and forget about work.”
You swivelled in your seat and slid your bag onto the back seat, careful to avoid dumping it onto her photography gear which covered one of the back seats of her big 4x4.
Her hand fell back to your thigh as she drove out of the car park where she’d picked you up, and you tipped your head back against the seat and groaned. It wasn’t a particularly sexual gesture, but just the splay of her fingers across the muscle of your thigh was enough to get you to forget about your shitty manager and your stressful day. You laid your own hand down atop hers and squeezed her fingers gently in yours. “Thanks,” you murmured.
A second later, your phone rang and you dug it out of your pocket with a scowl. When you saw the name on the screen, your heart sank. “It’s my mother,” you sighed and she laughed.
“You gonna tell her about me yet?” she asked, waggling her eyebrows. The question was not barbed; she knew how your family felt about non-humans. To have their precious eldest child dating one would have horrified them. They’d never even met a non-human in the small, backwater town where you’d grown up, so goodness knows what kinds of stories they’d heard and believed over the years…
You answered Khara’s question with a roll of your eyes and then accepted the call. “Hi, mum,” you said flatly.
She chirped your name, berated you for not calling more often, and then launched into a barrage of very boring family information, dotted with the odd question directed at you. “Oh, and of course, I nearly forgot!” she added after about five minutes of continuous monologuing. “It was the whole reason I called you! Georgia has set a date for the wedding!”
“Oh,” you managed, without enthusiasm. Your sister had been engaged for over a year now with no wedding date set before now.
“You’ll be coming, of course,” your mother breezed. “So, she tells me that Charlotte and Maria will both be alone this year, so I can put you between them at the singles table,” she said.
“That’s a little ambitious of you,” you sneered sarcastically. “Both of them?”
“Oh, don’t be silly,” she scoffed, more exasperated than amused. “I’m hoping that perhaps one of them will catch your eye. It’s been such a long time since you brought that lovely Kate home… I do worry for you, you know?”
“Actually,” you began, but then froze. ‘That Lovely Kate’ had in fact turned out to be a deceptive, cheating nightmare, but your mother had never accepted that for some reason.
“What? Don’t tell me you have someone?” she squealed. “Oh darling! I’m thrilled! I can’t wait to meet her! What’s her name?”
You swallowed thickly and shot Khara a glance. Her eyes twinkled and her lips twitched up into a smile that instantly became a shit-eating grin when she saw the look on your face. “This is it, isn’t it?” she mouthed and you nodded. “Go on then.”
You put your hand over your phone and hissed, “She’s not going to be pleasant about you if I tell her you’re an orc…”
“I don’t care,” she said, waving her hand and returning her brown-eyed gaze to the road. “I’m not dating her, I’m dating you…”
In a whisper, you said, “I love you,” and then turned back to your mother. “Well, her name’s Khara,” you said. “We’ve been seeing each other for about a month now.”
“You’ll bring her along, won’t you?” she said immediately. “Oh I’m so excited for you. I thought you were never going to bring another girl home…”
“Mum, please, I’m in my twenties - I’m not some washed up old fart!” you said and got a bark of laughter from Khara beside you.
“I know, I know, but your father and I were married and expecting you by the time we were your age…”
You sighed. Here we go again, you thought. And sure enough came ‘the speech’ about how she’d been so worried that you’d remain a bachelor forever or that - god forbid - you might even be gay… The way she said it like that just pissed you off - so fucking what if you had been dating another guy anyway? - but a squeeze from Khara’s hand on your thigh again centred you and you took a deep breath.
“Mother, stop, please,” you interrupted. “I get it. You think I’m a hopeless loser.”
That earned a deep, almost feline growl from Khara and it was your turn to reach for her and sooth her. In her own way she was gently protective of you, even from yourself.
“You can’t be completely hopeless if you’ve found yourself a girl at last,” she laughed. “Tell me all about her.”
“Well, she’s a photographer,” you began and your mother made an unimpressed sound. Perhaps she’d been hoping for a doctor or something, but what the hell did it matter anyway? “And she’s an orc.”
Deafening silence thundered down the connection for a good five seconds.
“Mum? Still there?”
“I’m here,” she said tersely. “You’re joking, right? Please tell me you’re joking.”
“Nope,” you said, making the word pop.
Khara was grinning again, fighting off laughter, and this time there was a feral glint in her eyes that spurred you on and gave you the confidence you needed.
“You’re not going to bring… bring an… an orc to your sister’s wedding, are you?”
“Yes,” you said firmly but quietly. “Yes mother, I am. Khara and I are dating, and you asked if I’d like to be there to support my sister on her wedding day. Khara will be my plus one.”
“I need to speak to your sister about this,” she said tersely, all the glittery ebullience evaporating from her voice. “See what she has to say.”
“Well, it’s me and Khara, or neither of us,” you said, and she didn’t miss the tone of finality in your voice.
“Now, now,” your mother cooed, attempting to sooth you. “Don’t say things you’re going to regret later.”
You snorted a laugh and said, “Mother, if you can’t accept the person who’s made me happier in the weeks we’ve been together than I probably ever have been, then there’s nothing I can say to that.”
“Right. Well, listen, I’ll… I’ll call you back, alright?”
“Mmhmm…” you hummed without enthusiasm, and hung up.
Flopping back into the seat with a groaning sigh, you shot Khara another sidelong look. You were only a few streets away from your apartment, but you suddenly didn’t want to go there at all.
“You alright?”
“I’m going to sound like a huge prick after you’ve driven me here, but can we go to yours instead?”
“Hold on,” she said, and with a quick glance over her shoulder to check that the road was clear, she pulled an immaculate U-turn and headed in the opposite direction.
“You’re the best, you know that?” you murmured, and she laughed, tossing her long, purple-black hair. You passed the rest of the short trip to her apartment across town in easy, companionable silence.
“Hey,” she murmured about an hour later while the PlayStation controller had sat idle in your hands for at least five minutes, your character awkwardly cycling through idle animations on screen. She sat down on the sofa beside you and then took it gently from your fingers. “Stop worrying…”
“I can’t help it,” you said. “I love my sister, and I want to be there, but it’s… it won’t be fun for either of us. I come from a small, small town, and I’d never seen a non-human in real life until I moved to the city for university. They… They won’t be welcoming to you.”
“Or you,” she said pointedly, scraping her nails through your hair and scratching gently at your scalp, though it was hard enough to make you groan with the pleasure of it.
“No.”
“You don’t have to take me,” she said.
“I want to,” you hissed. “I shouldn’t have to leave you behind just because you’re not human! It’s barbaric!”
She laughed and in an instant she was straddling your lap. She was bigger than you, and pinned you to the cushions behind you by sheer height and presence. She kept her weight off your legs but she did roll her hips once.
“You’re so beautiful,” you whispered, feeling the blood starting to rush south already. She clearly knew this, and rocked her hips again, more slowly this time.
“Let me take your mind off things for a bit?” she asked and you smiled and nodded.
For a while, she didn’t do much, just took her time kissing you and slowly rolling against your hardening cock, but soon you began to buck upwards to meet each pass of her hips, seeking friction against the solid line of your hard cock.
“Khara,” you croaked and she smiled.
Swinging her legs off you, she knelt in front of you and undid the zip of your jeans. When she took your cock in her mouth, you gasped and grunted and she smiled around the girth of you. Her lips and tongue worked you for a while, head bobbing as she teased you, one hand cupping your balls and the other at the base of your cock. Her touch was like nothing else you’d ever experienced, and she had you panting and breathing heavily in minutes.
She pressed her tongue hard against the vein and then came all the way off you with a wet pop that made your head spin and your cock twitch in the relatively chill air of the room. Then without warning, she took you all the way and when your tip hit the back of her throat you did raise your hips then. Her tusks pressed into your skin between your hips and you gasped at the added pleasure of the pressure. Her eyes watered a bit as you thrust upwards into her mouth again, but she continued to suck, hollowing her cheeks and picking up her rhythm until you felt heat coiling inside you.
“Khara,” you said again, though your voice was ragged and a little desperate. “Fuck…”
“You want me to stop?” she asked coyly. “You want to move this to the bedroom instead?”
“I don’t think I can walk right now,” you chuckled, though it was more of a wheeze. Your cock drooled in anticipation and you were so hard you could barely think. You'd been so close before she’d backed off to speak to you. She looked stunning with her lips puffy and her eyes glassy, pupils blown wide. You could see down her top from this angle too and it made you want to see the rest of her, and to return the favour as well.
She put both her hands on your trembling thighs and pushed herself upright, pressing you into the couch beneath as she rose up. “You’ve made me so wet with all those little noises you’ve been making,” she said, adding an affectionate couple of words in orcish that went straight to your cock and drew another little whine out of you that you hadn’t intended to make. “I’ll have you here if necessary,” she said and she leaned down again and dug her tusks into your jaw in a rough, orcish gesture designed to spur males to greater arousal.
It worked on you too, apparently, and a moment or two later you were both naked on the couch. She lay back and guided you atop her. You caressed her hard, full, muscular breasts and pinched her dark green nipple until she cried out, cursing in orcish and then laughing as you released it. Her olive green skin was flushed, the freckles on her cheeks almost hidden by the deepening colour, and as you moved your fingers between her strong thighs, you felt just how wet she’d become for you and you lined your cock up with her entrance.
That first, slick, tight slide nearly made you come, but you breathed deeply for a second as you paused, hilt deep, feeling her muscles clenching tight around you. “Fuck,” you hissed as she did it again deliberately.
“Move,” she growled.
Bringing your thumb to circle her swollen, wet clit as you pistoned into her, you felt her start to shake in no time. Her back arched off the long couch and she snarled fiercely at you, grabbing your hips and ramming you harder and harder into her until your blinding release crashed through you. Your hips faltered, and you emptied yourself into her just as her inner walls clenched hard and she came too, prolonging your own orgasm.
Eventually you flopped down atop her and you were aware of nothing beyond your own pounding heartbeat and hers.
“I love you,” she whispered against your ear, making your spent cock twitch inside her, which drew a husky laugh from her.
You stayed with her that night, and she made you come another two times before you fell into a deep, forgetful sleep without dreams or worries. It was only after breakfast that everything came crashing back with a phone call from your sister.
“I can’t believe you’re bringing an orc to my wedding!” she shrieked, and you held the phone away from your ear to protect your hearing. “What the hell?!”
Khara looked up from the sofa at you while you continued to make breakfast for the two of you, one handed.
“Do you want your brother there or not?” you growled.
“Of course I do,” she retorted. “But not with some beast in tow!”
“Don’t you dare,” you growled dangerously, grasping the handle of the wooden spatula in a white-knuckled death-grip. “Don’t you dare call her that.”
Georgia pouted audibly, snarled, “Well, she’ll probably have got bored with you by September and dumped you anyway,” and then hung up.
Khara, in fact, did not get bored with you, and when September ticked round, the two of you were stronger than ever. Her family had even invited you on holiday with them, which had been a huge laugh.
Two days before the wedding, you’d made it back to the small town you’d used to call ‘home’, and had booked into a hotel near the venue. The owner of the hotel had balked visibly when Khara had strode in beside you, but he mercifully made no comment.
No sooner had you dumped your bags on the floor in your room than your phone began ringing and a very frantic Georgia shrieked, “The photographer cancelled! Oh my god!” she crooned your name and begged you to help her somehow.
“Khara’s a photographer,” you said carefully, meeting her curious gaze across the bed. “She did bring her camera with her, but she might not want to do it…”
“Please, at least it’ll give her something to do. She’ll be out of the way,” Georgia rambled. “Wait, does something like that even know how to use a camera? Oh god, no, they’ll be terrible… What do I do?”
“Probably not the best way to warm her up to you,” you said dryly. “She’s shot for some top fashion magazines you know… you’ve probably even seen her work without knowing it.”
“Ok fine, just ask her ok?!”
You did, Khara shrugged. “Sure. I don’t have all my lenses, but I can make sure we get some shots if you like.”
When you’d finished trying to calm your hysterical sister down, you kissed Khara squarely on the lips and told her you’d make it up to her when you got home. “I know you will,” she smiled.
The day of the wedding dawned bright and clear, with one of those endless autumn skies and light that just begged to fall on a glittering wedding dress. You and Khara turned up early to the location so that she could scout it and have a brief chat with Georgia about where she wanted at least a few key shots taken from. On such short notice, Khara wouldn’t be able to do the work of the photographer that she’d originally booked, but she promised to get the key ones.
Georgia’s face when she first saw Khara, dress bag over one arm and a camera rucksack on her back, with her hair tied off her striking face in a ponytail, her arms bared by the white tank top she wore and the shorts that showed off her legs beautifully, was worth more than all the wedding pictures would be. You wished you could have had that framed instead.
Khara, bless her, took it all with unbelievably good grace. In the end, Georgia mostly got over her prejudice and even seemed to warm to your tall, intimidating, beautiful girlfriend after an hour or so.
When she returned to you, Khara kissed you passionately and when she was done making you see stars, she drew back and laughed. “I knew she’d come round eventually.”
“You’ve still got to face my mother…”
“One victory at a time, ok?” she said and headed to the bathrooms to change, though not before she smacked you - quite hard - on the backside as she left.
The other guests were trickling in before she emerged again, but when she rounded the corner of the old hotel, your heart stopped. Wearing a long, mist-pale, blue dress that hugged her hips and her waist and floated loosely and gracefully elsewhere, and revealed a good slash of her chest too, and heels that instantly made you weak at the knees, was Khara. Your mouth went dry and you stared, slack-jawed as she caught sight of you, smiled almost shyly, and then walked over.
“I’ve never seen you wear a dress like that,” you managed to croak as she came to a halt in front of you.
“Will I do?” she grinned playfully, knowing full well she didn’t have to ask you that. She kissed you before you could reply and murmured, “You look so handsome in that tux.”
“You look stunning,” you breathed.
“Good. Because people are already staring at me.”
Your heart sank as you looked around and saw the scandalised looks on the older faces amongst the wedding guests, and on the younger, you found open, unmasked curiosity. “I wish they were only staring because you’re so beautiful,” you muttered darkly.
A second later, your mother appeared.
Before she was in earshot, you leaned in close and whispered, “Oh shit. I’m so sorry already. She hasn’t even got here and I’m sorry.”
“Sweetheart,” your mother said through her teeth when she drew level with you. “Can I have a word?” and she grabbed your arm without even looking at Khara.
You yanked your arm free of her grip and turned to your girlfriend. “Mother,” you said firmly. “I’d like you to meet Khara.”
She blinked and then visibly forced herself to look at the orc. “Thank you for helping out with the photography,” she said stiffly.
“Pleasure,” Khara said smoothly, cocking an eyebrow just a little.
Your mother ground her teeth and then pulled you away to the musical laughter of Khara’s amusement. How you were ever going to thank her for being so bloody gracious in the face of your appalling family, you had no idea.
“I didn’t think you’d actually do it,” your mother snarled in your ear once she’d dragged you to a suitably private corner.
“What?”
“Bring one of those monsters here.”
“Mother!”
“What? I read the news! Those orcs and werewolves and minotaurs… they’re all mindless thugs! Mindless, brutal thugs! And you’re dating one?”
“Please,” you said, fighting for calm with more patience than you knew you had in you. “Lower your voice. You’re embarrassing yourself. This isn’t about us. It’s Georgia’s day. And you watch the most biased news channels; they can’t even be called ‘news’! It’s all just lies! It’s nothing like that in the city. My roommate at uni was a werewolf!”
The colour drained from her face. “You didn't tell me that. What, that nice boy Dean?”
“Yup. The very same one you met when you came up to see me that one time. One time, I should stress, by the way.”
She didn’t seem to know what to say to that, but luckily, she didn't get the chance to spew anything else forth because Khara came quietly over to you and said, “I’m sorry to interrupt what I’m sure is a delightful reunion between mother and son, but they’re about to start and they’d like you to take your seats.”
Your mother looked about three seconds away from having an aneurysm, so you nodded once at her in farewell and followed Khara into the room where the ceremony was taking place. The wedding itself went smoothly. Georgia and her new husband, Mike, looked the very picture of happiness, and Khara got some gorgeous shots of the couple. At the reception afterwards, she politely retreated to the edge of the room and drew you close to her side.
“That wasn’t so bad?” she murmured.
“You’re a fucking saint,” you growled, swiping another champagne flute off a passing waiter’s tray. “They’ve been horrible to you and you don’t deserve any of it.”
She lowered her lips to yours and kissed you gently, her dark eyes open, locked on yours, and you nearly dropped the wine. She smelled incredible too, and you couldn’t wait to take her dress off and thank her in every way you could possibly come up with later.
“Dance with me,” she said, startling you.
With a rather feral grin, you asked, “You really want to push your luck don’t you?”
“We can leave after I’ve danced with you,” she insisted. “Not before. It’s all I’ve been thinking of all throughout this awful evening…”
And sure enough, after the dancing was well underway, she led you to the floor and the two of you danced in full view of everyone. People sidled away, but Khara was undeniably beautiful as she swayed to the music and you spun her around. You got a couple of cheers from the younger crowd though. Yes, you were shorter than her, but no, it didn’t matter a jot. You even forgot about them all after a while.
Only when it was over and she leaned down and took your face in her hands and kissed you, breathing heavily, her eyes glowing, did you remember everyone else.
“You’re incredible,” you breathed. “How are you even real?”
“Let’s get out of here,” she laughed in your ear and you were only too keen to oblige.
The phone call from Georgia the next day put a dampener on things for sure. Apparently you’d ‘ruined her whole wedding’ by dancing with a ‘mindless orc’ and ‘deliberately making a scene’, but honestly, you didn’t care. Khara sent her the photos not long afterwards, and that seemed to appease her.
“You’ve always got my family,” she said as she sat with her legs across your lap one evening while the two of you attempted to thrash each other at Mario Kart. “They love you. They think you’re adorable.”
“I am adorable,” you said, right before red-shelling her off the Rainbow Road.
