Here's another giveaway drabble with lots of fluff and a cute snek for you.

“Hey, do you want to go grab an ice cream?” you asked, only to be met with a disgruntled hiss as your lemon-coloured, ball python boyfriend curled up into a tighter ball in the sun in the back garden. 

“I guess I’ll have to go on my own then,” you said with playful melodrama, “And I won’t be able to share your favourite with you…”

Slowly, clearly tempted, he started to uncoil, and eventually you had a mobile and mostly awake naga, ready to go out with you in search of sweet treats in the sunshine. 

He took your hand as his scaly body slithered almost soundlessly along the street, and you looked up at him to find his bright golden eyes crinkling fondly as he said, “Thanksss for getting me up and out - I love sssspending time with you.”

When you both had your ice creams, you headed for the park and he coiled up his tail just enough for you to have somewhere cosy and comfortable to sit, and the two of you shared your ice creams in the fresh, summer air between the shady trees.
