Hello lovely Patrons!!

This is a longish post, but I hope you'll find the info useful/interesting, if not exciting... Really important stuff is in bold, so you can just skim it. Somehow we're at the end of June, and the world is still upside down, but our love of monsters at least remains the same! I realise that the current state of things is impacting people hugely in all sorts of ways, and I do understand that supporting someone online like this is a luxury that is not availble to everyone. To those of you who are able to continue supporting the work that I create on here, I offer you a dragon-sized thank you!! It means the world to me, and I'm still so touched by your support.

I have edited the details of the tiers a little, including 'rewards' which should minimise any sales tax which you might be charged from July onwards. I did create a post about this at the end of May, but the amount will be between 20 and 55 cents if it applies to you at all, which it may not!! I've also been in touch with Patreon about the idiocy of their in-app links on the mobile app, and they've passed it on to their IT department, so we'll see if anything comes of it...

Anyway, back to the fun stuff!!

Thank you for filling out the poll for the CYOA 200 Patrons celebration! I realise it was a lot to choose from, and still it couldn't include everything. A male naga with a seems to be clear winner, with 39 votes, but an orc, a drider, and a forest monster/dryad were also very popular, so I will choose one of those for July's story. I have also taken note of the other popular choices on there, and the suggestion of more wlw content, so don't worry, more on the way.

June has been a very strange time for me, and I'm not going to lie, and like a lot of people during lockdown, I've really struggled with depression, anxiety, insomnia (my particular favourite), and creativity, but things appear to be easing up again in my brain, which is a relief!! Nevertheless, I was really pleased to hear how much you all seemed to enjoy the two part, 14k word exclusive for June with Drake, Iltho, and the reader! I've had a few people asking for more from them, so we'll have to try and fit more of them in somewhere in the future!

There was also interest in a monthly, free story draw, so I'll think about introducing that, as well as opening up a limited number of slots for commissions to patreon supporters only. I know I've said that before, but I'd really like to take on a few of your ideas! You're always so creative!

I'm going to leave the poll open for only another couple of days, to give any new folks *waves* the chance to have their say in how we all celebrate hitting 200 patrons together, but I'm aiming to have the first chapter up on here for the weekend of 4th-5th July, and thereafter, release chapters on a Friday until it's finished, the way I did with Embers, way back when.

The plan for July then is as follows:

Mondays will see a chapter of the longer-running stories go up, either from the vampire story 'A Door to the Past', or the Fae Realm story 'Winter Solstice', or the werewolf mlm story with the working title 'Ashridge Pack'.

Wednesdays should see Tumblr stories posted on early release. I've taken inspiration from your feedback results from a while ago, and the popular answers of the CYOA poll, so hopefully there'll be something for everyone coming up!

Fridays will see the CYOA story go up, with a poll to decide what happens next going up on Saturday (just so there are no spoilers on the actual day!)

The monthly story has been chosen from the 'runners up' of the poll, and it will be wlw this month. Expect a forest dryad/monster, with a very non-human body.

Anyway, that's quite enough waffling from me. I hope you're excited for July, and if you have any questions or suggestions, please please always feel free to reach out on any of the platforms where I'm active. If you're shy and would rather submit something anonymously, do so to Tumblr, and you can even tell me not to post it. I'll acknowledge I've got it by saying something like 'Patreon anon I got your ask' etc. but if you're shy, I want you to know you can still reach out with anything!!

Finally, take care of yourselves, and know that each one of you is an absolute treasure!!Love, Ghosti x
