Content

Like I promised, here's another short-form video! For now this is a Patreon-exclusive but I will be releasing it on YouTube eventually. Kind of a niche topic - Friedrich Schiller's analysis of beauty as freedom of appearance applied to a specific architectural phenomenon. I hope you enjoy!

My Perception

This is a very interesting approach, and your point makes me immediately think of atlantes holding up parts of the facade. It's as if you catch them within that moment of fighting against the force of gravity.

Well Written Agenda

i love this! the method got me into some fun thoughts. the image of the sphinx has become a personal symbol and this video inspired me to form a new interpretation of the sphinx's winged-ness and what it signifies in contrast with it's traditional depiction of sitting. It highlights the choice of the sphinx to integrate itself into human affairs and architecture (they are often depicted as dangerous riddlers at gates) when it could just as easily fly beyond it. thank you for the video!
