The most popular video topic in my last poll was the one on Lazdynai, the most praised residential district in all of the USSR in the 70s. I've been reading a lot on the topic in preparation for writing the script, and there's a lot of material that can be covered. So I wanted to ask: what aspects of this topic were you most curious about? Multiple choice is allowed!

The sense that I got from your brief blurb in the post about the poll was that this was an exemplar of urban postwar Soviet development - and I voted for it because I was curious about whatever attributes made it such an exemplar. So: what might I learn about the values/perspective of such development that were so well-realized in this particular instance?

I guess I am most interested in the politics of this thing as a "whole", like not just what party decisions led to it etc. or how people received it, but what kind of sociality was it the result of, and what kind of sociality did it create

In other words, what features were highlighted in justifying its nomination for the Lenin prize?
