It seems that someone shared the link for reserved Lynx Brutality tickets outside of our Patreon. By trying to get tickets for your friends you are taking away reserved places meant for our supporters - and we won't tolerate it.

Because of selfish actions like this we will have to change the way of offering tickets. New rules for Lynx Brutality 2026:

only 10 spots will be reserved for Patrons

tickets will be available for tier "Kompot addict" or higher

we will prioritise patrons with longer support

That sucks. Can't the shipping name / adresses be compared with the patreon members to check who would've been eligable from those who snatched one of the tickets? :(

polenartactical

Yes, of course If the name doesn't ring a bell we check it against the list of patrons

Sebastian

Ok then why are you punishing all paying patreons?

Christopher

I second that. It is totally understandable that sharing a link outside patreon members cannot be tolerated, but I think it would be rather unfair for the real members who got a ticket through legal means. Have you came up with a solution or should we try to get an additional ticket at 17pm today?

polenartactical

I apologise for the misunderstanding, I have edited the post for clarity. If you are a patron and have bought a ticket for 2025 that is perfectly fine. We had multiple other people trying to buy reserved tickets and we canceled their orders. The only way to access the product is by a direct link - so that means that someone shared it outside of Patreon. Next year we will gather a list of interested patrons, sort them by the time of their support and then send them personalised invoice for the ticket

Christopher

Oh I understand. Thanks for clearing that up 👍

There is always someone who has to screw things up for everybody.

What an asshole move to share that link. That is one way to do it but as a programmer I would add an extra step for security. It is possible to use the Patreon API to check if the user who bought the ticket is a patreon. Probably via linking the patreon account to your shop account. That does 2 things: first - no one is able to buy more than one ticket. second - you automatically secure that even IF the link is shared it does not matter because they are not patreons. Check with your Shop-programmers if they could add this. Hopefully this does not break your fun. Stay safe.

unsportsmanlike behavior. if you can track the guilty ones I'd sure ban them from the match.

On one hand it really pisses me off but on the other hand i also understand that everyone wants to get a ticket. We are under a lot of stress because we have to deny so many and try to make it fair. Our idea is that our long term patrons that support us regardless of Lynx should always have a priority over people that join just to get a ticket, regardless of the amount paid. We will review our strategy for next year when that time comes but both VIP and normal tickets will be again first offered to our patrons, we just need a better system to see who is worthy

Markus

If you need any help with that, i would be happy to provide help.
