Gas Masks (Patreon)

You need a Gas Mask? Watch this First!

This video explains how gas masks work, how to use them correctly, and what different filters actually protect against. We cover the core components of a gas mask and how they function together. The differences between common filter types such as P3 particulate filters and combined filters like ABEK2, NBC and CBRN are explained, along with their capabilities and limitations. The video also demonstrates proper use, including how to put on a gas mask quickly, check for a proper seal, and what to expect when breathing and operating while wearing one. Practical considerations such as fogging, visibility, and compatibility with shooting equipment are addressed. We also cover realistic use cases, including protection from smoke, dust, tear gas, and industrial contaminants.
