Why she chose an MP5 for her First Lynx Brutality

In this interview, Margaret explains why she chose an HK MP5 for the event and takes us through the firearms, optics and equipment she used. She discusses how she prepared for the match, adapted to shooting left-handed due to left-eye dominance, and trained for the physical and technical demands of a two-gun competition. We also examine her MP5 configuration, including the UTG mounting system, a pre-production Integrix fixed 4.5× optic, an offset red dot, collapsible stock, weapon light and suppressor. Margaret also shares her experience using the Walther PDP F-Series, building her first competition belt and testing unfamiliar equipment under match conditions. The conversation covers the challenges she encountered during the stages, including long-range shots, moving targets, barricades, physical obstacles and strict penalties. She reflects on the mistakes she made, the lessons she learned and how she plans to improve for future matches.
