Restless Adventurer completed the August patreon shooting challenge and made a nice video worth sharing. The challenge was simple, try to get a smallest group of 10 shots at 10 meters. The main goal of our shooting challenges is to get people training and having a good time at the range. Do you guys have any suggestions on how we could improve the challenges and get more patrons to participate? Maybe we could set some prizes for best shooter?

Polenar Tactical Shooting Challenge August 2018

This is my entry into the Polenar Tactical Shooting Challenge this month. The challenge was "Try to get a good grouping of 10 shots at 10 meters, no time limit." I shot 4 times total using 2 different guns. The green circles are 3 inch / 75mm and the center orange dot is 1 inch / 25 mm. The target was 33 feet downrange. Ruger GP100 with Fiocchi 142 gr FMJTC .357 Magnum Group 1 is approximately 2 inches / 50 mm Group 2 is approximately 3.75 inches / 70 mm CZ P10C with Speer Lawman 147 gr 9mm TMJ Group 3 is approximately 2 inches / 50 mm Group 4 is approximately 1.75 inches / 45 mm Great challenge! If you haven't seen their channel go check them out.

For me, I'd participate in more challenges if I was aware of them sooner. I'm rarely on FB so if you announce them there I might never see them.

Thanks for the spotlight by the way. I'm glad I did some shooting that I'm proud of.

We should have consistent rules. For this month I think on Facebook it was originally 15 meters and later it was 10 on Patreon. Also a leaderboard would be fun. Maybe some simple reward would be encouraging (like a shout out or a personal message) too.

Makes sense. For a leaderboard we need clearly defined rules and video of the shooting so people don't cheat :D

True Delance could edit himself into another Jerry Miculek

So we can't use heat seeking bullets?

polenartactical

You most certainly can! Would love to see that on video :D
