Why did the hammer fall on the AK when you assisted the bolt into battery? I didn’t see your finger on the trigger. I know it was a select fire rifle. A major malfunction of the rifle IMOP. Thoughts? Hope your palm is healing well Ziga. And when is Manca getting her BRN-180😃

The full auto sear released the hammer when the bolt was pushed forward but the hammer should catch it... Strange, very strange malfunction :/

Kyle Groetsch

Damn Americans! 😆 Wonder how many rounds were on the sear? I’ve seen several extremely high round count select fire weapons run away in my time. But never one kick the crap out of someone like it did to Ziga. Hopefully it isn’t due to Yanks medaling in Russki weapon sorcery. I wouldn’t want my compatriots to open a hole in the space time continuum. 🤣

These were fairly new rifles from some US manufacturer. There was something wrong with them because you can see the problems with feeding and other jams. The booth lady said that it was because the rifles were dirty and not lubricated enough which was bullshit. My AK can work bone dry and completely dirty without any hicups.

Kyle Groetsch

I suspected as much but wanted to give the manufacturer the benefit of doubt as I wasn’t there. Kind of insulting on her part to think anyone, of all places shot show, would buy her bullshit story. What’s more insane is she tried feeding that lie to a group of tacti-Slavs. Thanks for the response, cheers. 😃

I doubt she new any better, the booth was from Barnaul ammo and they got some US made AKs there to test the ammo. And a couple of hours in, all their AKs started to jam :D
