This week's release is a video only for all tiers.

Comments

Ross Johnson

Absolutely love this, could have watched it for hours.

TripC83

Oh man this is rad!!!

Jeremy Soers

One of you should have played as LA with Bo Jackson, who apparently could never be tackled in the game.

Shannon Galer

Awesome. You guys should get a tournament going.

Wendell Wested

THIS IS THE BEST !!! A DEFINITE NEW SHOW

Recrat

Took the Packers to 100' s of Tecmo Bowls Super Bowls...

Michael J Curtis

Fun and nostalgia, I see lots of potential for this show, not sure if it would be better with a controls refresher to start or as is to fuel arguments. Either way I can't wait for more, thanks guys!

Piss Ant

This is my new favorite thing. Great job

Bre Brown

AMAZING! Definitely up there with let's all go Toho the movies. Please do another old game show like Card Sharks again too!

Thomas Stark

I like the show, but maybe the next games are ones both people know (or don't know even) how to play, Sunday Jeff was like a deer in the headlights

Jared Cronce

This is awesome, love TESD doing retro gaming. Definitely keep this series going! I miss my old NES.

Thomas Stark
>>70078154

Apparently in Ice Hockey if you tap the B button is does 'Fake Shot' so that was why Jeff couldn't shoot the puck, he had to hold down the button longer

Rhyss

Could be interesting to start the video with a retro game and then play the modern equivalent at the end of the video. Hope Sunday comes back for Mortal Kombat

Will Whitmore

This subscription is by far the best bang for you buck on all of patreon. It’s not even close.

Dakota orfe

Really wanted to see Walt bring the pain with Bo Jackson.

Kiersten

Never been into watching steamers but gotta say this 1000 times better than any streamed out there

Mack 5000

Walt is such an asshole talking trash to Sunday and I fucking love it!

Ernie Martinez

That was great… didn’t have high hopes and seconds in… it brought back memories and I was hooked!

Jim Marciano

I usually only listen, but this was definitely worth the watch

Steve D.

This is a definite winner.

Christian Shimana

Awesome to see you guys have an Ant (Geff Locke) do the voiceover!!

Ryan

Fun episode. Missed opportunity not choosing LA and playing as Bo. He was lightening fast.

AJohnB

This was like watching an older brother beat up on his little brother. If the intention was to have us watch a competitive game, it was a miss. If the intention was to watch Sunday Jeff flounder about while getting mocked, then it was a win! Great episode, as always.

Ryan Larin Clark

Yes I love this and the work you gentlemen put into this.

Alexander Perretti
>>70097298

Walt loves to take any chance he can to get Sunday to flounder. BQ is an actual gamer, I wonder what he's play with Walt.

Sakura Izumi

I HATE sports video games, but the boys found a way to make this fun, even for me.

S Gauthier

Great video guys. Love the retro games.

lumpcalhoone

Another winner. Way to knock it out the park. FCFL

derek evan

What a good surprise

Chad Sell

Great show! Stoked for more!

Jason Kivell

That was hilarious to watch.

David Walker

To shoot in Ice Hockey you face your guy the direction you want to shoot and hold B for a second and then release. Tapping B like Jeff was doing is a “fake shot”.

Jim Dodge

Loved it! Walt Makin Sunday humble! Lol! More please!

Gregg Marcus

From the excitement, to the shit talking, to the excuses about controllers, to the faces they make, it all brings me back to a little kid. This was amazing.

Matt Woosnam

Loved this!! Brought back great memories as a kid playing these games.

Bill Q.

If Walt thinks that level of trash talk makes him unlikable, I'd love to see what people would think of me and my friends when playing video games.

Cody Clemens

This is great, I had fun. Not really coming to TESD Town for the arcade

Doug Taylor

Great new segment, I hope this one sticks around. Bryan should be on twitch. He can play Red Dead Redemption 2 or GTA V and just talk about whatever comes to him. He would immediately have a big audience. Get paid to play video games! Anyway, this new show has legs, great work guys.

anthony

This was awesome. Tesd town tournament would be amazing !!

Roman

Holy shit we need more of this. Walt getting hyped up during ice hockey had me rolling. A proper tesd let’s play series would be gold.

Roman

Walt yelling SIT DOWN BITCH at Jeff just made my day

Andrew Peace

This was one of the best ideas. I was dying laughing, but not sure how interested I would be in seeing anyone besides Sunday Jeff and Walt playing. Part of what made this so funny was the Jeff commentary, and Walt smack talking. Would love to see Jeff return to play Walt for a different game in the future

Jules Lucas

I wish i had a friend like walt.

Joshua Davis

Sorry, this was a bit of a snooze. My attention drifted fairly early on, which doesn't happen when I watch other TESD stuff. I just do not get the appeal of watching people play video games. I want to play them myself, not watch. The fact that people make millions doing this is fucking ridiculous.

Jason Rand

The draw to using the Giants in Tecmo Bowl was using LT on defense, he, like Bo Jackson (LA) was so fast he couldn't be stopped.

Bulla

This is absolute gold. Could we have some NHLPA 93 on the Genesis too ? Walt please get your sister in to whip your ass !

NateDizzle

I'm having PTSD from TESD, my older brother used to school me at tecmo. Loved the episode, can't wait for more!

m4sshole

Sunday Jeff, of course the rich Jewish kid burning down minigolfer courses

Robert A. Walsh

Hopefully they will play a co-op game like Bad Dudes. Walt yelling at Sunday the whole time.

teezz

this is perfect, thanks Walt

Joe Soldezzo

You guys are crushing every show intro !! Love this new show. Please make more 🙌🏼

Dan C

Poor Jeff - he was so cocky with that first goal until the flanman decimated him on every game. I loved this. I was hoping one day you guys would do this. any hints of what you guys have planned to play?

Tracey Baker

To quote my gaming mates "Let's Do A Gaming!" You Guys would love a little thing we have in the UK called WiFi Wars.

Greg Last

This was amazing!! Please keep doing these!! I laughed so hard. Sunday Jeffs inability to shoot the puck was hilarious. Walts competitiveness was so great to watch in action!! THAT WAS FUCKING AWESOME!

Robert Modelski

Was a fun episode! Love how Walt would not even tell him what buttons to use even though Sunday asked about 1000 times. Walt was not going to help him one bit! I would like to see some of the so called lamer games like breakout or Pong. Even space invaders and missle command on Atari.

Bryan

Tecmo Bowl was the best game. Give me Chicago and Walter Payton and it’s game time! Next you should play RBI Baseball and Double Dribble for Nintendo!! Great Episode!!

OZena

8BIT-ESD is awesome!! Can't wait for more episodes. Walt, you should get an Ice Hockey or Tecmo tournament setup. Find contestants, hope they practice, and hold a tournament with folks around the new studio.

Steve D.

Just gotta say again, this was a lot of fun. You guys should eventually get into 4 player games. Could be epic.

Travis Ratcliff

In tecmo bowl why are the LBs and DBs down in 3 point stances😂

Andrew Morales

Sunday Jeff talking smack in the beginning and then eating crow during hockey was too funny. Good shit!

matt thorne

Q is going to destroy Walt if and when he shows up on 8-BITesd. There needs to be an official TESD power glove made.

Vincent

This was great. More!

Zack Turner

Did Walt misspeak when he said his sister was 9 years younger than him?

Jordigan

I just want to acknowledge how great of a video producer Walt is. That dude is a special talent, but everyone here knows that already.

Pat10214

Loved the episode! Can’t wait for the next installment!!!

Geir Andresen

I love this series already :) But it was so frustrating that nobody could teach Jeff how to shoot properly..

Rob Murszewski

Really enjoyed the episode! The smack talk has me laughing throughout it. Can’t wait for the next one!

Eric Skultety

I LOVE this new show! Keep ‘em coming!

MPTest2

As a person who often listens to new episodes of TESD while gaming, this is a damn dream. Can't wait to see Walt square off against Bry (and hopefully Q).

Haven Huge Fan

I love all the shit talk coming from Sunday Jeff!!! Keep these coming! Hilarious!!

Alex Tjomsland

Bring back tidbits TANSJS and puck nuts this is trash

Dave Stiefermann

I need more of this. I don’t even need Walt and Sunday, mix it up with the TESD residents. Or Playahz, if you will (you can have that). I want to see Walt and Bry do a fighting game. Better yet, a co-op beat-em-up. Like Final Fight or Streets of Rage. Even better yet, I want Walt and Bry to co-op Jay and Silent Bob’s Mall Brawl!

Darren Fletcher

Enjoyed the show...but....c'mon Walt...you deffo loaded the dice in your favour man ! Players should choose a game each ...SJ walked blindly into a full on Flanagan ambush...😂🤕

Pixel Pals

Now this is a show I cam get behind!

Kevin Hunt

those wireless controllers can be a little spotty for the NES. I had to go and get the wired ones.

Nathan Slaven

Look forward to seeing more of these

Austin Hasten

This premise shouldn't be good but somehow it's awesome.

Jeff Craig

Love this- NES was my jam back in the day!

Justin Sanchez

I fucking love this! Techmo bowl was mine and my dad's favorite game to play together when I was a kid

Alex Brown

TESD and Lets Play joining forces?! Hell YES!!!! This is likely to become my favorite TESD content ever. Keep it up!

Bryan Hicks

This was a lot of fun! Looking forward to the next installment!

gZa

Really loved this!

Mark H.

This is a fun idea!

I think the app also allows you to leave constructive, or even nice comments. Not every comment has to be bitching. 👍

Matt Douglass

More of this show please! Ill keep subbing

Alex Tjomsland
>>70392238

I think mentioning 3 other podcast they produced, that I’ve enjoyed, in the past is constructive.

Andrew Huff

Very nice recreation of what it was like to go to a friend’s house back in the day and play a new game. Love it!

Anthony Small

Love the classic games. Can't wait to see you guys jump into NBA Jam and maybe some Mutant League Hockey on Sega

alex Huyghe

you need to do a new game, because you would both be lost

Robert Tutwiler

Hopefully they play NFL Blitz in a future episode.

Nedyahwerd

This was one of my favorites. Hope to see this back in 2022

Todd W

You should definitely do more of these. It was fun listening to you guys talk shit. Maybe next time at least look up the controls beforehand because you guys were killing me not knowing how to play. Pro wrestling is a classic and you guys didn't even go through and select the different characters or do any moves.

Nick Adrian

I loved these games. My friend sold me Tecmo Bowl for cheap after Super Tecmo Bowl came out. Being from Buffalo, I knew so many people who had Super Tecmo Bowl which came out after the Bills lost the Super Bowl to The Giants. I would practice at home with old school Tecmo Bowl, often as L.A., where they would show a white guy in the graphics after Bo Jackson scored. I rented Ice Hockey from the video store more than once.

Remember changing NBA Jam players to be people like Bill Clinton, Al Gore and Parliament Funkadelic’s George Clinton?

Nick Adrian
>>70087055

I know Walt gets competitive, but Sunday kicking off the trash talk was an invitation to Walt to take off the gloves and not let up.

Josh Edwards

308 likes, 110 comments... PLLLLLEEEAAAAASE bring this back boys!

Brianna Gabay

I concur, I’d love to see other TESD town members go head to head.

16-Xray

I can't stop laughing, this is a masterpiece.
