The explosion-sounding siren is called the "Scare the hell out of Mike Siren".

OfficerAzxlura

Do you recommend any good sound packs? I know you had some in the video. Could you share the names of some more?

BlueLine Vibes

Hey there, I have several sirens that I recommend. You can always find my current mods that is kept up to date on my website https://www.bluelinevibes.com/mods Use the drop down menu for Sirens if you are looking for a good one. Thanks again for the support. FYI: There are also good weapon sound packs as well on there that I use.

I'm getting an error when trying to install a siren. Can someone help? vehicles.oac(Line 16): File "vehicles\0x000E3CFA.wav" not found. Also It's in both the rar and the files in Open IV... So no fing clue why it's saying that

You can replace raw tones into your vehicle folder and then import the vehicle.oac BUT you said you do not have a vehicle.oac Then you will need to go to pathway as mentioned in the video - Resident.rpf and then click on vehicle.awc and then with edit mode on, right click on vehicle.awc and then export open formats into a folder of your choice (I would create a new folder on desktop first) then export. You will now have a vehicle folder and a vehicle.oac in that folder. Then drag your raw files into the folder. Be advised that some authors that make sirens are lazy and will not name the files properly, they might have it as priority.wav or yelp.wav You will need to find the siren files as mentioned in the video and then rename those raw files if needed.

I want to make the fire truck actually sound like fire truck sirens and horns. Ambulance too for that matter but atleast its close. The fire trucks sound like police cars and that is not even close atleast not here where I live in the Louisvlle Area. I saw a couple videos on youtube from several years ago with 2 different ways of accomplishing what I want but I cant find anything recent to verify if it is even possible. Plus like you I dont want to replace the full Resident.rpf because of the weapons sounds I have installed. So if you know how to accomplish giving the firetruck proper sirens and horns so when you call them on scene it sounds right I would love to see a tutorial on how to do it. Seems like it is possible now that I think of it because I just saw a new video from Buggs on OCRP a couple days ago and I noticed the fire trucks sounded like real fire trucks. So if FiveM can do it I would think Singleplayer/LSPDFR can also.

BlueLine Vibes

It is definitely possible and I have done this before. I will do a tutorial on this. I will make it accurate, concise and will do my best to make sure it is not too long of a tutorial. I will plan it out over this next week and get it done. FYI: I have a video scheduled for release over here on Patreon over the next week, on how to mute the AI horns in the siren install and also how to turn any FiveM siren into a Single Player siren. Don't get excited about that release as the video is already done. I just like to space it out over here on Patreon as I get numerous complaints that I am releasing too much stuff and people genuinely complain about getting too many emails of cool shit I do LOL Multiple sirens (police and fire truck) will come out soon after.

RWieber79

Awesome man! Thank you for doing that, cant wait!

Hey Mike are you still planning on doing a tutorial on replacing multiple sirens and how to make sure everything works correctly i.e. keeping the file size under 16mb and setting up the VCF's so it calls on the correct sound? I think I have installing the new sounds for 1 siren and Fire/EMS figured out but where I am getting confused is the other sirens along with the XML files if I want a different siren for LSPD than I do for SASP or BCSD for example. I am not sure which files I should use for those after the standard Siren_Quick, Siren_Wail, Police_Warning slots are used up.
