For Example: I set mine to lightsettings value="0" and sirensettings value="1" Go to Mods - update - update.rpf - x64 - data - carvariations.ymt Right Click > Edit > Search for Flatbed the last line of that code you will find your sirensettings. Change it to - sirensettings value="1"

Nicely done, never thought of simply editing the els file to mute sirens!! Have you ever shared what model of tow truck you are using? Specifically for the small one? The default Mater looking one I have is pretty lame.

My els stopped working. I've installed it and reinstalled it. Updated with the new advancedhookv and still nothing. Any suggestions. Only the back lights flash. When I use control P nothing happens.

Same thing happened to me a couple of days ago. What I found was that the ELS.ini file had been changed by SOMETHING and the key values were 1 number off. For example, 220 instead of 219. I re-downloaded the ELS archive and pulled the ELS.ini from it and replaced my installed one. The re-downloaded one had the correct key values and now everything works great!

So when I press control 1 for ultimate backup, the medics come in a police car, how do I get them to come in a different vehicle like a special fire truck or ambulance?

That is group backup. You can change the vehicle type in the config

Juat reinstall ELS Including the configuration and the new advanced hook. Should work. ELS has given me zero issues for years now

Go to your carvariations file and edit the sirensettings line for the Flatbed model. For Example: I set mine to lightsettings value="0" and sirensettings value="1" Go to Mods - update - update.rpf - x64 - data - carvariations.ymt Right Click > Edit > Search for Flatbed At the very bottom, last line of that code you will find your sirensettings. Change it to "1"

The tow file that says readme.xml is saying error on line one missing < with a couple more codes. Thought id let yah know!!

I am confused on your comment. Were you being serious? Did you install a readme or do a syntax check on the readme xml? Granted the readme should be just a text document, but you do realize that was a readme right ? 😊

Not sure that would be related to the video, but it sounds more like a LOD issue. What are your LOD settings for your vehicle. You didn't mention if it was a Coroner or a Tow Truck etc. So can't help you very much as you just mentioned "vehicle"

Sounds like the LODs are good. Is your Coroner vehicle the same one linked on this video perhaps? Or do you have another Coroner vehicle installed.

Do you have this installed as an addon correct? Did you by chance rename the vehicle to fit in a different slot? In other words, do you have "lacoroner" inside your DefaultRegions.xml responding on scene.

I did not, it's still lacoroner and I added it to my default regions as well. It's like there is no vehicle meta fix. It shows up but they are floating in the air till there right next to me or I walk over to them.
