As soon as I hear more from Opus, I will be on that. GP is not 100% incompatible with the newest Windows update, but it does seem to effect the speech recognition. I am using sort of a beta fix right now which seems to put it to the original recognition rate at least. Not sure when Opus plans to release that.

Hopefully it'll be fixed soon! Because even on Windows 10 the speech recognition is screwy and doesn't seem to work as well after the update. I'd like to get back into making my own videos for LSPDFR. I just have a lot of shit to fix lmao.

Pull the Carvariations from OpenIV to your desktop and open with Notepad++ make your edits. See if that works.

there was something about the "metallic black" being wrongly named as it's not the "Metallic" in game it's actually the normal colors, i read about this about 2 years ago by now so my memory is a bit rusty on this topic but if i remember right, on the wiki, metallic black is just normal black in game as my cars use black as default and do in fact not look metallic (which is what you want lol) i believe Utility black is "Metallic"? i'm really not sure tho so don't take my word for it, don't know why this is, but yeah

That is a possibility, I also remember something about this a long time ago as someone made a post and there was a slight debate back and forth. I might have to try it out and see if that is the case.

Apparently Simple trainer has Utility and Worn, so i don't exactly know what Metallic is supposed to be then. I'm surprised nobody ever fixed this in the wiki. Altho Simple trainer also uses "0" for both default black and Metallic black, this whole thing is confusing lol but if you put "0" in the carvariatons.meta it will be default black.

Mike do you know how to remove the writing? I have a mustang Sherif vehicle i want to use as unmarked. I changed it to black and tried changing livery to false but it didn't work. Any ideas?

Hi Mike, I watched you texture loss video and worked it out. I removed the reflective file which was the marked writing from the ytd. That seems to of worked.

I have a add-on undercover white fpiu and want to change it to all black. I went into the carvariations file and saw that all the numbers are already 0. Shouldnt that mean the car should spawn in black? It defaults to spawn in white.

It might depend on the vehicle name, for example I have seen some Addons with the default name of the vehicle (i.e. Sheriff, Sheriff2, FBI etc.) if that is the case, does that Addon vehicle pack have their own Carvariations? If not, it could be feeding off your other Carvariations location.

Actually I just found out that someone else had the same question but changing it through a trainer. The Creator said that is because there is a template with it

Gotcha, so are you saying that there is a template inside the YTD? In other words, maybe there is a separate sign (livery) inside that ytd? If you want, you can link the addon and I can take a look at the pack for you.

The author had an all white paint job as the livery. I changed it to a transparent livery. The Carvariations for that addon, should be all black. If you want steel type rims, you should change the 4th number on the Carvariations to 156. It would look like this in the Carvariations in the addon pack under data folder. 0 0 0 156 0 0 Drag the folder into your DLC packs. Should be fixed.
