EDIT - September 21st, 2025 - I WILL LEAVE THIS VIDEO UP FOR THOSE THAT WANT TO KEEP USING STOP THE PED AND ULTIMATE BACKUP. HOWEVER, I WILL BE DOING A NEW MENU CHANGE FOR THE NEW POLICING REDEFINED. Expect New Menus and Notifications for all of the people using PR.Join me as I break down how I customized Ultimate Backup and Stop The Ped, modifying their localization files for unique menus, wording, and notification layouts. Get a full walkthrough of my process and download the exact configuration files to elevate your own patrol experience! Color code included in download so that you can make any word a specific color.UPDATE v1.01 - I took out my callsign SAM-44 so that you will no longer see my callsign when requesting info from dispatch. i always kinda wanted to do this but never really knew what to change things into except for the obvious ones like EMS, coroner and FD as well as the documents changing it to the state i'm doing, for example "Kansas ID Card" , "Kansas Registration Card" or "Johnson County Fire Dept.". this is pretty cool as now i don't really need to think about the rest anymore and just focus on the customizations based on the state. great little mod!

Go to your Ultimate Backup config. Look at your [Parameters] There is a setting to adjust backup spawn distance. // Default distance for backup units to spawn, adjusted to reflect a more realistic arrival time based on typical police response in urban environments (100 was too close, increased for tactical delay and realism). BackupSpawnDistance=150 If you want to set that to something a bit more realistic, set it to 500

Thanks, ya you can create several localization files. Edit those and stick em in folders and then name the folders for whichever patrol you intend to use.

Awesome work as always, Please could you make a video in regards to your EUP and Ultimate Backup Config? Would love to be able to use the same ones like yours as its really hard to configure the UB config and I know its really time consuming, Would be willing to pay for it not a problem but would like to have your basics all down in there mate, As always we appreciate all the time and effort you put into your work.

Thanks, I appreciate the kind words. Actually that is my next video that I plan on tackling. I would share mine in a heart beat. However, it relies heavily on the uniform packs, gun holsters and uniform belts you have installed. Some may have EUP 9.3 and others like myself would have EUP 9.5. The numbers would be off to the point that you would find yourself having to correct each line and the backup may have different pants, backpacks, orange pants, etc. But I will get this done and I want to do this the right way: 1. Ultimate Backup units - Uniforms and Cars 2. Police uniforms of ambient spawns that hang out around the stations and also the ones that are patrolling around the map. I was just made aware (today in fact) of a new tool that can convert the wardrobe to a Ultimate Backup config. I have yet to try it out, but I have seen someone use it. It's actually a discord tool, looks pretty cool. I will include that as well in the video. Should turn out rather nicely once complete.

Thanks for the video. I have a small request. I installed your Glock and load mods, but I had the realism flashlight mod installed before. Now, I have the vanilla flashlight back. If it wouldn't be too much work, could you try to tell me how to combine these two, because I'm to be honest scared I'll destroy my weaponconfig.meta file if I do something myself. Thanks

Not a problem. I am assuming my flashlight realism correct? You installed the Glock and Load mods, which overwrote your previous meta files correct? That is a valid concern, but you are all good. My Flashlight Realism mod will only overwrite the weaponcomponents.meta It will not overwrite your weapons.meta which would be for the fire rate etc. I already made the clip size to be the same as the Glock and Load which is 18. Feel free to install the Flashlight realism back into your game, and all should be good. If you have further issues, let me know. Also, I should have made it more clear on the Flashlight Realism video in reference to your question as I am sure I will have others with the same problem in the future. Sorry about the confusion.

Yo brother, after installing mods i don't know for some reason my game wont launch it just come as a black screen or purplish black. i am tired i dont know what is going on. even the game it self wont start without rage plug . pls help me . i installed some of the mods from your exclusive content and i dont know what i did wrong.

Hey, Mike. Just a quick question. Is this the menu selection mod that allows SABC while awaiting paramedics?

This is more of a notification type of thing. The default would just give a notification above minimap that Ambulance is in route. This gives a bit more of an immersive notification response. So in other words, it is just an aesthetic.

Can you clarify what you mean by "Grammar og" ? If you meant "or" , these are menu replacements for Stop The Ped and Ultimate Backup menus and notifications only.

Hello, I need help with Ultimate Backup. When I call for a unit (for example, a Patrol Unit), they don't appear or spawn at all. However, the EMS units are working fine. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Could be a few things Hugo. Check your vehicle model. If you have an addon vehicle, it might not be installed properly or a bit of code is missing or simply messed up, I have done that multiple times myself. Are you requesting via the menu system inside Ultimate Backup? If not, try that as well. If you are using Grammar Police, there might be a code at the bottom of one of your phrases that is prohibiting the backup from coming in. If you want to DM me over here on Patron and attach your Ultimate Backup folder (zip it up) put it on a G-Drive or another website upload and share it via DM - make sure it is shared publicly so that I can download it. I'll take a look.

That would be up to you, but always save a backup copy of your Policing Redefined files so that you can refer back to them if needed, trust me on that. To use this menu system for Stop The ped and Ultimate Backup, yes you would need to have Policing Redefined out of your game. Install Stop The Ped along with Ultimate Backup and then install these files on top of those mods. You will now have custom menus and responses.

Not sure what you mean by "New Enhancement" do you mean the changes to the localization file? Make sure you are modifying the correct one, either Stop The Ped or Ultimate Backup Localization file.

You can modify the Localization file inside the PR folder if you like. Much the same way as we did on this video for STP and UB. If more people were interested, I would do another menu for PR system.
