hey brother really hoping you could help me with this problem I’m having. I installed policing redefined and it works perfectly, and then I installed the EUP backup config by Lenny and the EUP to PR converter and after customizing my game uniforms whenever I go in game and request back up my Blaine County ones will show but when I go in the city, my LSPD ones don’t and a message pops up to send my rph log to the discord

Hey BLV I'm sure you already have other videos and topics to get to first. As a veteran lspdfr player I've never quite figured out how to properly modify the xml files in ultimate backup to have dlc cars respond as backup and even eup outfits as well. It would be helpful if you could cover that sometime. Either in UB or PR.

I definitely want to see that video on reports+ I heard you can put it on an external device (laptop, computer, etc…) I have it downloaded and alt tabbing to it sucks and ruins the immersion to be honest. I’d love to see how to hook it up to my laptop!

I'm already use to it, but I've been playing for 5 years so i'm so glad this replaces STP and UB lol I don't care how HOT my backup and tow trucks fly in on the scene. The functions of this mod are way better.

Awesome video man. Soon as you get the dispatch ready I'll probably switch mine over to PR as well. RN something keeps causing LSPDFR to crash randomly when either an ambient or callout is going on and I cant figure out what it is because its not the same callout pack or Ambient events pack that is active when it crashes. Its really annoying though, lol.

Hey Man! Thank you so so much for this. Can you help me with a little problem? I followed the video step by step and when I try to go on duty the FirstResponse.DLL crashes. I have no idea what is going on, everything is up to date. Would really appreciate some help or if anyone else has had this problem?

Those types of events are hard to diagnose sometimes. Be sure to check your lspdfr.ini and turn off world ambient events as well. WorldEvents.IntervalMultiplier = 0.0f WorldEvents.MaxNumberOfEvents = 0

I'll double check but pretty sure I have those all off. I did turn them on last week to see what they did but when it started crashing even more put my original ini back in. The last one was caused by the stolen police car fallout in TrueBlue Callouts and the one before that was a pursuit from Immersive Ambient Events I think. So yeah it's weird.

Yeah me too, I don't like that idea either. Hopefully you can link it to the steam overlay and then set a keybind to open it up instead of having to alt tab or put it externally.

Reports+ allows you to use a secondary device like a laptop/tablet. They actually recommend it being used this way rather than having to ALT/Tab to it. I was thinking about how to get it onto my laptop next to my PC (IRL) and I believe the way it works is by using the same port # and obviously the same IP address (using the same WiFi) and I think that’s how it connects to external devices. The immersion in that is so much better. Having an ACTUAL laptop sitting next to you with real time data being transferred to it. I’m gonna try it out within the next couple days and if it works the way I think it should I will make an install video on my YT. Granted that will be for someone who’s using 2 devices!

Hey Mike, every time i download PR my game breaks or just crashes I've deleted all my old files with UB stop the ped and compulite but every time i add reports plus or PR my game breaks mind doing a Lspdfr download and steps video for the help?

Good question actually. I would download it again and install, just encase your version is slightly outdated. If its the same version number no reason to install it again. But be sure to get that extra file that is included in that download. Good chance you have that installed too.

That would be a hard one to trouble shoot as I already covered the install for PR and my video on LSPDFR that I did last year is 100% still the same way you install it today. If you are getting crashing with PR installed, there is definitely something wrong with the actual install or you have a mod conflict. Best to just post in our discord. We have 8k members in discord and you should take advantage of the auto-log reader as well.

Hey Mikey, no reason for them to add that. 99% of the people that owned Stop The Ped did not use the menu as well. Patron will not allow me to paste a clickable link, so you will need to copy that into your browser. Hey Mike is this the same Damage tracker framework that isnt compatible with More Gore? And if so I suppose that means you are using something besides More Gore now?Perhaps the Better Hit Reactions and Bass Dragons Euphoria you made a video about a couple months ago?

Ya, the Damage Tracker Framework will conflict with More Gore. I currently have it out of my game at the moment. I do have the Bass Dragons Euphoria installed and still love that one. Better Hit Reaction is great, but I feel it is just another added resource for my game to handle, so I do not have that running all the time. I still like it though. I run it every now and then.

The laptop that shows on the screen is only a visual element that I use with OBS. In other words, I do not see that on my screen. That is for content creators who wish to give the viewer a better view of the CAD system. If I didn't use that overlay, it would just be a fullscreen. I was using ReportsPlus and I do plan on doing a video over here on Patreon and will mention the overlay, but as mentioned, you won't see it on your own screen.

That is a bit odd. PR has no influence over Rage Hook console or ELS. Never heard that happen before. Did you install anything else around that time? For more help visit our discord if you like. Link should be on Patron, but if you have trouble finding it, it is linked in the description of every YT video.

For your lspdfr.ini - you can have it set like this Ambient.DisablePlayerFlashlightOverride = true That way the flashlight beam is still good, but the animation above the shoulder will be broken though as that is a native lspdfr function. The native function if set to false, will have the animation but the beam will be broken by a crappy light output.

Hey man - thanks for all of your amazing videos and audio content. I'm considering moving back to StopThePed and UB for a while because of one main reason - wondering if you can help. When I call for pursuit backup using Grammar Police, the cars only arrive to the location I called them from and don't pursue the cars... I'm also finding that the AI with pursuing vehicles is not as effective. Is this something you have noticed or can advise me on how to fix? On an unrelated note: would you consider doing British audio overhauls of your BlueLine Audio packs or would that just be way too big a job? Is it even possible?!

British Audio was something that I was considering and yes it would be an enormous task to do it, but it's still on the back burner for now. I have noticed that pursuit backup is not as refined as Ultimate backup. It does help if you ask like this "Dispatch requesting Pursuit Backup" they do tend to join the pursuits better. It's kind of like Ultimate Backup as well. If you ask for Code 3 backup during a pursuit, they may respond, but just to that specific location when you asked for it. Sure they need to fine tune it still.

I tried it! The dog doesn’t spawn, so it’s probably coded to only spawn for the specific default settings.

Thanks for testing that out. I am assuming you added the K9 info into the Special Unit etc. I would imagine that you did that, but you are probably right that the backup K9 unit as a Special Unit may not work as intended. Would be cool to see that work though, especially during a Foot Pursuit where the K9 officer parks their car and takes control of the dog.

Yeah, that’s precisely it. A shame really as it would have been super cool and means you can also have your dedicated DOGS/ K-9 unit vehicles responding more frequently or dedicated to pursuit support.

Both have big differences. I would not be able to pick one over the other. Stop The Ped / Ultimate Backup is stable and has a lot to offer. PR is fairly stable and has better audio from dispatch. PR has cool mechanics with backup that shows up on scene. However, PR has some issues with backup during pursuits. I'm just waiting on an update to fix a few issues with the pursuit backup and I will probably go back to PR.

Hello, whenever I try to stop a vehicle with T it doesn’t do anything just blips but the ped never stops.

Normally it works pretty well. Maybe try changing the key to your E key and keep your T key for grabbing the ped. I would make the modifier key for grabbing a ped as the Left Control key. Go to your Backup folder, you will find your DefaultRegions.xml In that xml document you will need to search for the word tow. Double check that you have the correct vehicles in there for your tow service per region. Note there are 9 sections. 3 sections each for the : smalltowtruck largetowtruck flatbed 3 sections only for your coroner 3 sections for your animalcontrol

Hey all I was trying to figure out when I take my ultimate backup up xml files and put them in here since I spent a lot of time on them why the mod doesn’t work I overwrite the redefined xmls with my ub ones and I get a error saying Policing Redefined VehicleDivision.Vehicles' must contain at least one Vehicle' entry. Policing Redefined Check the log for details and your XMLs for content, syntax and typos (case-sensitivel). Only then contact us on Discord with your XLs if you need further help.

@caden, have you posted your question on our discord server? If you have not, use our Patreon chat or mod discussion channel. I have a ton of helpful people in there that help each other out and I even have some mod helpers that usually go out of their way to help you. They can probably find that fix pretty fast.

Yeah. The issue is that YouTube doesn't have the capability to link to Patreon. So, even though I am a Patreon member, all YouTube member videos are off limits to me. It's not a huge issue, just makes it a slight pain as my YouTube addons don't work on Patreon videos (like my volume increaser addon). I know there is nothing you can do about that, just me ranting.

Hi, I think there might be a conflict between Force Duty and Police Redefined. The game crashes immediately when I go on duty while Police Redefined is installed. Do you know if these mods are incompatible or if there’s a fix for it?

Post in our discord as it is hard to diagnose the issue over comments. You would need to use the Log Reader we have in discord and the mod team can see your files easier. Instant crashes on force duty is usually a result of a plugin incompatibility or something is not currently installed right. For example, if you have Compulite / Stop The Ped / Ultimate Backup you might get a instant crash on force duty if you have Policing Redefined installed. If you do not have Common Data Framework installed with PR, it could crash. You might get an instant crash if you are using NPCAI and you have the wrong version of that mod that does not match PR for example. Only way to find out is to visit the discord. Hey Mike, How do I get my Colbaton back into Kinetic. I just installed PR and i can only get the stock nightstick now.

First, you need to add it to the Loadouts, I did a video on how to add it to PR loadouts. Go to this video on Patron - https://www.patreon.com/posts/153369649?collection=1740280 Scroll to this time 10:20 of that video for the Colbaton. It will show up as "Unknown (0x252343)" inside your inventory when you load your Kinetic, just like my AR-15 did on that video about Kinetic. Colbaton will be treated as an Unknown since it's an addon. But as I show on that video, you can simply rename it to anything you want. By the way in that video I linked, you do not need to worry about WeaponDisplay name. I would leave it off personally, video will make more sense.

If you are requesting a Tow truck, it should work 100% Are you getting a response from dispatch at all? If not, you have far worse problems than dealing with a tow truck itself.

BLR is responding to backups, EMS, pediatric checks, and license plates; everything seems normal. I followed every step you have taken so far, and it is working fine. I used to request a tow with GP, but I removed it and am currently using only PR. I made a manual request for a tow via PR, and the tow shows on location but is not impounding the vehicles; please guide me.

PR has a certain way of towing vehicles. You would have to use your Backup Management key. Found in your Backupsettings.ini of your Policing Redefined > Settings folder This is the way that the tow system works.
