Great Video, I'm only 12 minutes in but it seems like you didn't cover how to install the EUP configurations for PR if I'm not upgrading? Is this possible right now besides doing it manually? I only have EUP 9.3 so I can't use that other file.

You might be confused by my wording when I say "Upgrading" I was meaning upgrading from Ultimate Backup. As mentioned you take your DefaultRegions, CustomRegions and SpecialUnits from your 9.3 config and put those into the Backup folder. PR will convert those for you. If you have EUP 9.3 then you need to have a config for your regions. That is why I suggested at the start of the video that you download the EUP 9.3 config. For further help, visit our discord.

Oh okay I appreciate you clearing that up, I wasn’t sure if it was just as easy to just take the Custom Regions, Default Regions, and Special Units files from the 9.3 config download and replace them with my current PR ones. Im glad to know it works the same if you didn’t have Ultimate Backup previously, sorry for the confusion I appreciate it.

Hey Mike, awesome video! 👏 I started diving into LSPDFR and mods a couple of months ago and stumbled across your channel — absolutely love what you’ve done with Blueline Dispatch and using it always, so I had to sign up! Since I’m still pretty new to all this, I’ve already managed to break LSPDFR (and half my plugins) more times than I can count 😅 — but honestly, that’s part of the fun. Nothing like a good crash to accelerate the learning curve, right? Seriously though, huge kudos for this video — super clear and straight to the point. Definitely going to give this a try. Quick question though: did you add extra gear (like the holster and other goodies) through additional mods or does it come with the EUP different versions?

In this video: The uniforms that are considered extra gear would be the following: Belt, Gun, Vest, SWAT gear Those were paid assets from ThinLineSanctuary.com Just be careful as it will drain your pocketbook :)

No worries, yes it would be the same. Pretty much any config that was designed for Ultimate Backup, which is most of those out there. Easier to do it with a premade config, but still possible to modify your regions even without a custom config, it would just take a lot more work.

This has made it far easier and quicker for me to edit my backup EUP. Still have to work on some custom and special units. Now is there a way to apply this towards ambient units just patrolling in the game?

Yes and No :) Yes in the fact that you can use the code and paste it into a different mod called EUP Converter and you would use that code to place into your other xml files that reside in your lspdfr > data > custom folder No in the fact that you can't simply copy and paste the code like the regions to make it easier :( But if enough people desire a video like that, I can do one for everyone. Not terribly hard to figure out and you can do a Google Search for that EUP Converter. You can run it anywhere on your PC, doesn't even have to be installed.

My advise if you plan on buying anything like that, go slow. Maybe a piece here and there. I have had others go on a spending spree and spend over $400 .... yikes

Not too sure about Ped overhaul, as long as it doesn't change up your Default Regions and custom Regions for example, should all be good

Hey Mike, I have all my uniforms the way I want them, but when I am in the county the park ranger service responds a lot. I can't find where to change there uniforms. Do you know where I can find this?

Easiest way is to just do a search for "pranger" they usually respond in that vehicle. Or you can probably do a search for the word "Park" or "Parks" but I would search for pranger first. Note that this might be found in your CustomRegions.xml as well. Very rarely in your SpecialUnits though

Hey Mike. I can’t jump out of LSDPFR the way you did with the command line nor did I see the PrintCurrent option I think there something wrong with my setup. Any advice? I have all the other features like eup etc I just can’t get the command line to accept any options.

Double check that you have installed it into the plugins folder properly. You need to load it in game. 13:15 part of the video

Hey Mike my backup is showing up with missing arms and legs. Any idea on why? I am guessing I have a conflicting configuration.

Pretty easy fix on that. It's easy to have one number off by accident. Happens to me off and on. One thing you can try is to watch a video called Menyoo and why you need it for LSPDFR. You could potentially Soul Steal a backup unit and figure out which numbers are off. If you decide to watch the video below - Watch the first 3 minutes on the install. Once installed and you understand the keybinds, Go to timestamp 12 min mark - 12:00 of the video. It will discuss Soul Stealing and how to correct uniforms. Hey there Mr. Loaf, Sure, until I get a video out about that, you can take a look at my Loadouts.xml if you like. Unfortunately I make this link clickable in the Patreon comments. Yes and no. Can do everything STP does and UB does. Compulite no, you need another mod for that like Reports+ that has been covered on Patreon

Hey Mike, great vid! I was just wondering how to change the names of the police cars from the addon packs, because i have multiple addon packs with for example the same name: 18charger. What happens is my los santos county addon dispatches in los santos city

@Matteo that would be a bit tricky to do and it is possible. However, you would have to change the addon vehicle name for the model and also make changes in the meta files as well.

Almost forgot, if it's an ELS pack, you would change the XML file to match the vehicle name change as well.

Heylow Mike, falling back on this one, since I'm only working on my backup now :D I've made several texture changes in my 9.3.1 eup version, and I did buy 9.10. Is there any tip to keep my texture changes or do I have to re-import everyone of them?

You want the bad news or good news? 😂 Trust me, I feel your pain. Good News is that you know how to do it faster and if you get Lenny's config for 9.10 most of the uniforms already have good structure. Bad news is that you will have to play and see which types of uniforms you will have to redo. I found that the EMS, Coroner are pretty well done and I only had to make some minor adjustments to some of the uniform structure.

hey great vid! Quick question how would i go about replacing the paramedics outfits and corners? is it just the case of finding emt inside of "defaultregion" and doing the same as what u did with lspd patrol outfits?

Yes, if you go to your DefaultRegions.xml and do a search (Left Control + F) and type in the word AMBULANCE, it will take you right to where you want to be. Note: There will be 3 divisions normally. LosSantosCity, LosSantosCounty, BlaineCounty. You might want to take a peek at your SpecialUnits.xml as well, but they may be listed as Air Medic or possibly Medic. Coroner - You would just search for the word "CORONER" in DefaultRegions.xml

Not a great way to do that, unless you want to download an ambient event type plugin. 1. Immersive Ambient Events 2. Ransom Ambience You can enable or disable the other ambient events if you like and only have DUI type vents.
