How to Change the actual light bar color not just ELS (Full Guide)I show you how to go into the model textures to physically change your lightbar colors from red and blue to all-blue, or any combination you prefer. We also dive into the carvariations to ensure your vehicles spawn with the exact primary, secondary, and pearlescent colors you want for a perfectly unified fleet.

Thank you for This video ,now I change my lights now

Great Video man! I cannot wait for patrol ready and the other one. Looks like we will be able to get rid of EVA/BVA and Menyoo which all of those annoy me. I like Enhanced Vehicle Actions for the controller support but it keeps messing with how I get in the vehicle. Having to hit the button 3 or more times before I can get in so I took it out and have to deal with no brake lights again. I wish I knew how to mod because I would make a mod that was only for brake lights and nothing else so it would work without conflicting with so much other stuff. Thankfully looks like you are taking care of that anyway and I love the idea of being able to lock the doors with a keyfob animation and not having to use a menu to do it as well.

BlueLine Vibes

I will release some dev vids on it soon. It does a lot more than what is shown on the video as well.

RWieber79

Sounds great, Cant wait!

Mike, you have got to be the most intelligent modder in GTAV/LSPDFR. This video was awesome and as always, I'm still learning from you. Looking forward to the new plugin releases.

Hey Mike I was wondering when the new dispatch audio is releasing?

BlueLine Vibes

Will be releasing in March. I will make an announcement soon. 👍

Say I wanted a whacky style colored lightbar like all GREENS. Would there be a way to change the enviromental lighting to be green in ELS files? Asking because I havent played around with that goofy idea myself just yet. Might be fun though.

BlueLine Vibes

Light bar is definitely possibly showing the methods in this vehicle and I am pretty sure that ELS with the environmental lighting would allow green. So for example if you wanted to do a Security style of patrol, Green and amber etc.

Alex N

Thanks for the quick reply, also contributing to suggestions I would like to say that I would definitely like a vest texturing tutorial, like stated in the video briefly. I tried looking on youtube and there were not many in depth tutorials regarding that. Your the best at lspdfr tutorials hands down, so I know you would do great at explaining the process. Thanks for all you do, Mike!

This is the kind of video I was looking for.

BlueLine Vibes

Looking back, I could have made this a lot shorter. I just get excited during recording and make it longer than it should. Glad you got some use out of it.

Jack

Hello there, I'd appriciate it if you could upload a tutorial on how to add TLS's Attachements into your glock in game

BlueLine Vibes

Sure, I can do that. They would go in the same location as the weapon install. Then you would add each component within Stop The Ped config under RealisticWeaponSystem loadout. Or Policing Redefined Loadouts, like the below example. COMPONENT_AT_PI_FLSH_02 COMPONENT_AT_PI_RAIL COMPONENT_AT_PI_COMP

Is there a way to fix an issue where my lightbar lights just don't seem to have any environmental lighting or it is reversed. EX: When blue lights flash on lightbar, there is no blue env light but the red flashes on the opposite side and vise versa. The lights in back window and on front push bar seem to be working fine

BlueLine Vibes

Did you check your slicktop section in the xml file?

Eddy G

Yes, if I remember correctly it was set to false for slick top

Eddy G

I can try to send a video later to show you what I mean

BlueLine Vibes

You can do that. There are some car models that might cause this to happen as well. For example I installed a recent Car Model from Air Spectre (recent video on YouTube) the FPIU does the same thing that your current vehicle is doing. Sometimes there is little we can do if that is the case as it might be an issue with the car model. You could try swapping out a completely different ELS file and rename it to the vehicle you are wanting to change and see if that helps though.

Jack

Perfect! Additionally I was just wondering, how do you get those modded duty belts on your NPC Peds. Do you also use base LSPD eup from EUP menu or is it modded? Many thanks, Jack.

aj

if my vehicle only has stage 3 lighting Is there a way to fix my ELSxml file to have multiple stages?

BlueLine Vibes

Go to your ELS.xml file Look at the top of the code, First Line Change it from auto to manual manual

aj

I’ve done that now it goes through the stages but the lights dont come on for stage 1 and 2. Is there another line that i have to change somewhere else?

twisted leo

if u ask trent he made a almost 1:1 edition of sunset pd mustang

Eddy G

So I'm not entirely sure how to send a video, however, I was able to confirm that it isn't just one car pack but three different ones. I tested four different fpiu's from different creators. 3/4 all had the same issue where the ambient light from the light bar is essentially reversed.

BlueLine Vibes

aj try this first: Take another ELS xml file, just pick one and rename it to the same vehicle you are using and replace it in you ELS > pack_default folder. If at that point there is no other stage lighting except Stage 3, then it is the car model that will not allow it.

twisted leo

you were showing the mustang from nick off duty video with sunset pd mustang . i wqas saying if you were looking for a close to 1:1 version trent has one he made

BlueLine Vibes

Oh, gotcha! Sorry about that, I got lost on that for a second. When you say Trent, do you mean Trent MU or something like that on the main lspdfr site? I will have to give it a look.
