Simple Mod - Mute Spike Strip Sound (Patreon)

When you request Spike Strips with Stop The Ped or Policing Redefined, plays an annoying metal clank that you can miraculously hear from your own car. F**king annoying! This will simply mute it out.This is simple although it took an hour to find the damn audio. Nothing special - use for whatever - share it out - Free use

Thanks! Can you tell me where I can get a list of codes you use for the dispatch so I can be sure I am using codes she will respond to? LOL I love the Easter egg when she said I have to buy her lunch after one of my requests! I also wanted to mention I think I caught on to what you did while listening to the dispatch chatter, and it was a pursuit in Grapeseed LOL. You told dispatch she hit a cow, and the first thing that came to mind was that cow in Grapeseed that is always crossing the street when you're driving by haha

Dippa, you don't have to memorize 10-codes. I set this mod up to respond to common speech as well. No memorizing phrases as well (except for some easter egg type phrases) To learn about 10 codes is mainly a bit of research on the state/city that you are the most interested. Typically Google is your best bet with a simple search or even Gemini with something like for example "List out 15 of the police 10 codes for Los Angeles" that is just something that popped in my head. This video here might help a bit as well. Ya both STP and PR both call on the same audio files buried deep inside your Grand Theft Auto V\mods\x64\audio\sfx\SCRIPT.rpf\big_score_hijack_01.awc

Mainly mutes whatever mod calls on that audio. Yep, it might effect other mods that call on the same audio as well. I gave an uninstaller if you need it. I just dislike hearing it in my ear inside my own car 3 blocks away from a set of spikes that were placed on a road that the suspect is not even on.

Oh ok, thanks Mike! You just do it so fluently and dispatch respond to the 10 codes so nicely, I thought they were part of the pre-recorded. Your dispatch mod is unmatched in my book! Everyone should be using it. I can't wait until PR finally gets the flashlight animation the way STP has. Then my game will be just about complete.

Is your BLR Dispatch reading off plates for Spike Strips? Those plates come from Grammar Police audio.

Can you tell me why with your dispatch mod, when I do a radio check, dispatch responds but she doesn't respond any other time? I can't figure it out

yea like it will say confirm on spikes and then the plate gonna check into grammar police now

If you are using the BLR Dispatch mod, it is not compatible with Grammar Police. My dispatch mod does not call off plates before Spikes are laid down. If you are only using Grammar Police and have the BlueLine Audio Overhaul, I can tell you which folder can mute those audio plates, no biggie.

yea i did the audio overhaul and installed the blr mod. so fully delete grammar police?

Of course as it's not compatible and you will get tons of error messages.

Well if you have my mod installed (BLR Dispatch) you would know if Grammar Police is fully installed as you would have several error messages on your screen. Maybe its coming from another plugin you have installed perhaps? Can't think of many that would trigger plates during a Spike Strip. My mod only calls on either STP or PR. Both of which do not read out plates as the spike strips go down.
