New Update October 25th, 2026Hotfix added v2.2.1 - Fixes the laser on the taserKinetic works with Policing Redefined and Stop the Ped. If you are updating Kinetic Only, Install the plugins folder. New audio has been added for Taser Cycling. This will not overwrite your configs/profiles. ➡️ Get the Update here Better Scene Management with Traffic Cones- Improved scene management for NPC vehicles approaching your scene. Lay out cones realistically: place your first cone at the back of your car (preferably), then continue placing cones around the scene. You can leave a second lane open so NPC traffic can keep moving around you. Any NPC in vehicles that refuses guidance will be deleted, making for much smoother gameplay. LEO, EMS, Fire, and Tow vehicles are immune to deletion. Debug is off by default. Enable it in the menu to see the green lines marking where NPC vehicles get deleted.Note: Debug if left on may cause fps drop by a few frames. Best to leave green lines off.

Audio- Kinetic now uses NAudio for sound playback instead of the Windows SoundPlayer. This frees up SoundPlayer for other mods that need it, improving compatibility. NAudio is built into the DLL, so no extra files are needed.

Addon Tasers/Weapons- Kinetic now accepts addon / DLC tasers (and similar stun weapons) via ExtraTaserHashes in KineticConfig.ini, so they work with cycle, prongs/wires, and laser just like the vanilla stungun. Previously, only stock stungun hashes were recognized.Flashlight- Added a persistence to the flashlight that is attached to weapons. It will now stay on even while the weapon is lowered.## IMPROVEMENTS / Fixes

- Under your Tactical tab in the Kinetic Menu for Pistol Draw Animations this will now play sound when unholstering/holstering- Added compatibility information in the readme. NOTE: Kinetic Flashlight is not compatible with several other new Flashlight mods that are cropping up. Examples that are not compatible: Patrol Suite, LTBL, Patrol Flashlight- Fixed probe/wire visuals staying locked on the first suspect after a second shot. Each new taser fire clears the previous attach and connects to the newly hit ped.- Police bikes now have access to the weapon system and even trunk system.

I just tried using the cones for the first time the other day and they didn't seem to work very well so hopefully this will help.

Kinetic uses the default weapon_flashlight, nothing fancy - just the one that is provided by Rockstar that looks far better than the LSPDFR default large one. I think you are installing a different flashlight correct? For example the TLS one? If so, delete out the +hi models from the location of the install and see how the flashlight looks.

I've been trying some of the newer callout packs with different types of callouts and this will come in so handy for some of them.

Your either signed in a different Patron, didn't buy Kinetic, or you got it under a membership at the time. Post has not changed.

So I am having an issue where I my flashlight just fails to appear when I try to deploy it along with a text warning. The game will also not give me my flashlight through simple trainer. I have no other flashlight mods installed.

Jimmy, you will need to come by the discord. Much easier to help you through there. If you can, post in the Patron Chat channel. Link your patron with discord. Tag me @BlueLine in the Patron chat. See if you can get an in game screen shot of what it looks like, with a text warning on the screen as well. Upload your Rage Log for me so I can help you out better. I replaced all related flashlight files back to default and it fixed the issue. All good in the hood again.

Love this mod ... but I just ran into a small problem I noticed when I reach for my pistol its not giving me the reaching animation anymore .. the gun just leaps into my hand.. but everything else is working flawless ...bro I may have a glitch on my end...

Nah, Kinetic is fine. It's a conflicting mod. Could be Cop Holster, or you need to load Kinetic after LSPDFR loads. Come by our discord if you need more support. I can't diagnose over comments unfortunately sorry about that.

Hey question, my Rockstar Launcher updated this morning and now my game crashes like 10 seconds into starting to load up. I'm on the LSPDFR version before the last update this summer. Is this one of those ScriptHook update things you have to wait for to update do you know? Thank you.

More than likely you have Reshade installed. It's a reshade issue with the dxgi.dll Were waiting for an update for the Reshade team to fix this problem. Temporary fix Only: Go to your GTA V main folder (where GTA5.exe is) Find your ReShade file. Depending on how you installed it, it’ll be one of these: • dxgi.dll • d3d11.dll • d3d12.dll Add .off to the end of it (example: dxgi.dll.off) Launch the game That turns off ReShade so the game can load. Your ReShade visuals (including QuantV) won’t show until this is fixed, but everything else works.

Okay I'll try that thank you. So it's not just mine then messed up? I do have QuantV installed as well as the DLSS5 Dark package and shader you had recommended from your first DLSS5 video awhile back. What update should I be on the lookout for? Is it a reshade update from QuantV or LSPDFR? or where will I find it? Thank you.

So I actually found this and it seems to work so far to block that overlay from JonJon. Dam Rockstar always breaking LSPDFR. How did you know it would be a shader conflict? I always have my ear to the ground with certain fixes. I am aware of the d3d9.dll - I just didn't feel comfortable distributing that file to thousands of people.
