A piece of concept art for my upcoming indie pilot animatic, I Am a Very Big Robot.

I Am a Very Big Robot is set in an alternate future where Earth is under attack by mysterious sea monsters from another dimension known as Leviathans. A military division known as the Ideal States Organization of Defense (the Ideal States being a version of the U.S. that actually has its stuff together to an extent) has dedicated itself to fighting off these monsters. Within the I.S.O.D. is the Human-to-Robot program, where technicians are developing a giant fighting robot who trained combat professionals can have their minds transferred into.

One day, a janitor named Braxton, who always dreamed of a better life, accidentally transfers his minds into a prototype H2R unit. With the H2R department undergoing severe damage after the transfer fries all its computers, Braxton is now stuck in the body of a giant robot, and now he's the Earth's best hope against the Leviathan invasion! He finally has that greater life he always wanted...problem is, he's not ready in the slightest!

More details about this project will be revealed over time, but for now, here's what Braxton's new body looks like.
