Time for a big text-heavy post! I think I get to do one after just finishing an image set containing 160 renders ;) We're gonna be talking about STORY! But not just story, also the way in which you guys want that story delivered. We're gonna go over some of the rough outline of a character origin story I've been writing, and also the ways in which I can turn that into content for you guys. So, let's get started.

Why I've been working on this

I've had an ache to turn LU into a proper narrative for years. Every now and again I'd sit down and try to hash out a way in which I could do this world justice with an erotic novel, but I could never find the right tone. You'll have seen me post snippets of writing here on patreon over the years but never anything that quite materialised into a larger, coherent thing. Well, that finally changed! Over the last few weeks I've spent a little bit of time every day working out small details until a larger picture began to emerge. And now I think I have something that's worth sharing.

We're going to keep a lot that we already know about Lust Unleashed. The core of what it is, ie Kayla and her company, the Zenith treatment, Mari and Marcella and how they're based off Tatiana's DNA, Yelena being a queen, Breanna a bratty slut from the DC area and the daughter of a sitting senator, all of that is staying in place. I'm actually changing surprisingly little. But I've managed to fill out a lot of the how and why, and I think it's safe to say that we finally have a real setting with depth here. So I'm gonna show you parts of it without spoiling anything story essential.

The timeline

It always used to be the case that I had the setting take place at some nondescript point in the near future. I figured it was somewhere in the 2040's, maybe 2050's, who knows. For the image sets, I never saw a huge need to define specifically a year they took place in.

However, there is now a birthday for Kayla Carter! She is born on March 9th, 2027. And this means the setting automatically has a timeline because it's always been my thinking that she's probably 35 years old in the image sets I'm currently releasing. Give or take a year, I have some room to maneuver here.

Yelena is two years older than Kayla, born on July 14th, 2025.

Tatiana is three years older than Yelena, born on October 28th, 2022.

Why does this matter? Because beside just giving us a timeline, it also gives the setting some space to have stuff happen. The world of Lust Unleashed isn't entirely the same as the one we live in today. Before I'm going into that, if at any point you wonder "how the fuck does this matter to a porn story", it's because I've always had the goal of writing porn on top of writing a good story that makes actual sense. I've always believed that erotica can be both.

The world of Lust Unleashed

Two big things happened in the year 2030: the San Andreas fault ruptured in California, and Russia underwent a revolution. Kayla and Yelena both benefited from this, because the San Andreas rupture created a sort of reset effect in San Francisco and allowed for the rise of Carter Industries, while in Russia it was Yelena's father that carved out a little slice of heaven on the Black Sea Coast and managed to create a brand new microstate sort of like Monaco and Singapore combined, called Sokolsk.

This solves a few problems for me. First, the change that San Francisco underwent goes into Kayla's character development. We're talking about a person who fundamentally believes in changing fates, in creating the kind of world you want to live in, in altering the old to make way for the new. She believes this because this is the world she grew up in. More on that later.

For Yelena it means that I no longer have to concern myself with how she's apparently the Tsarina of Russia. Let's be real, this was always silly. There was a time where I thought Lust Unleashed could be silly, but I just enjoy serious stories more. Yes, even when they involve bimbo dickgirls.

But in order to create tension in the story and give Yelena something to worry about, I needed Sokolsk to also not just be a fictional nation that's always been there, like how for example Marvel or DC like to create fictional countries to get around real world politics. It needs to have grounded challenges that Yelena needs to solve, so I wanted to root it in some believable events that lead to its creation.

So let's talk about both these things. We're starting with Yelena because it's things happening in Sokolsk that end up influencing the lives of everyone in the Lust Unleashed universe.

The Principality of Sokolsk

The idea behind this country is for there to be a realistic location where beautiful women all gather in one place. Where the economy is beauty. That doesn't make sense if it's a giant country with all the concerns a giant country has. Can we really see all of Russia somehow being enthralled by its nymphomaniac empress whose main interest is in making women gorgeous? Sure, if we want LU to be silly. But like mentioned above, I don't.

So it suddenly makes a lot more sense if Yelena's in charge of a microstate that's essentially a luxury resort for the world's hyper wealthy. And if Yelena's dad decided it was a monarchy when he founded it, then by the time she comes to inherit it, that makes her a queen. Technically since it's a principality she'd just be a princess, but of course that doesn't keep her from calling herself a tsarina ;)

Sokolsk is the name that Yelena gave it. The country is based around what is currently Sochi with its adjoining town of Adler where all the big formula 1 tracks and olympic stadiums etc are located, so it's not wild to imagine that some decades from now it's even more developed, with beautiful boulevards, palaces, and all other sorts of shiny nouveau riche shit. If it's a microstate full of casinos and banks there's probably lots of foreign wealth coming in, right?

Since Adler means eagle in German, Yelena thought that was far too imperial sounding, and because Sochi starts with "So" anyway, the Russian word for her favourite bird was a far better choice. Beautiful, slender, agile, what better inspiration?

There's a few really fun locations inside this area that I can use for future storytelling as well, but I don't wanna give too much away already. One thing I'll say is that I really look forward to shaping the evolution of this area in the story, from how Yelena inherits it from her father and how she gradually transforms it into a haven of hedonism and indulgence.

Kayla Carter and Carter Industries

But in the same year where Yelena's father carved out the country that would come to define his daughter's life, Kayla lost her own father. Richard Carter died when Kayla was just three years old, lost in the mayhem of the San Andreas fault rupture. He had always intended for the company to be inherited by her when she turned 21, but in his absence it fell into the hands of his close business partner John Erskine.

Neither him nor John had any idea just how much Carter Industries would boom in the post-earthquake world, and John turns it into a global leader in biotech. Kayla is faithfully offered her inheritance by John by the time she comes of age, but Kayla has zero interest in running a biotech firm and is far more interested in living it up and finding her own destiny.

By the time we meet Kayla in this story, she's an interior designer living together with Taylor. And whether she's particularly good at her job, I'll leave that to you guys to determine, but this is the phase in her life that sets her up to start exploring not just who she really wants to be, but also where she really comes from. Again, don't want to give too much away quite yet, but Kayla's obsession with beauty is not an accident!

If you're concerned by the mention of some male names so far, rest assured. Lust Unleashed is a female-only setting and will continue to be. There will be some small male roles in the story but of course zero male sex scenes.

The rest of the cast

This story is also going to introduce everyone else we already know; Breanna's got an important part to play, we're going to discover Tatiana's origins and how she met Yelena, we're going to even meet Valeria as well as develop a brand new reason for Jordan to exist. Mari and Marcella are not going to be part of this since they can't exist until Kayla's got Zenith up and running, and how that came to be is really what this story is about.

The only question is format

I think I've got all the basics for a really cool novel here, and as you guys know I'm not averse to writing. I quite enjoy it. I can make something that's brimming with both a really good story, multiple points of view, and a LOT of amazing sex scenes. But writing a novel is just one way of going about it.

The other way is to do this visually. That means comics. It also means this is all going to take a LOT more time to produce. Another route to go here is to simply do neither and to instead create reference material for all of this. That'd take the shape of biographies, interviews, brochures, the kind of stuff I used to make a lot of. I think it'd be the most efficient way of setting up all this backstory but it'd also be the least narratively complex. You'd essentially just get a series of notes that tell you who these people are, delivered in pretty magazine type styling.

I didn't turn this part into a poll because with a poll it if the majority of you guys vote for something it kinda ends the conversation because I just gotta do the way most people want it. Rather I'd prefer it to be a discussion in the comments. A novel has my own preference. It'd be something I could publish as well. Another way to draw attention to the setting. But if some folks are like "nah I really couldn't care less about a novel" then we can explore whether to maybe ALSO use another one of the options outlined above, rather than just one.

Anyway, long ass wall of text, so I'm curious to see what you guys all have to say about this.

This is amazing and beautiful and I'm so excited. As an aside, and a fellow world builder, if you haven't looked into the note app Obsidian.md, I highly recommend it. It has made note taking, organisation, etc so much easier for me. If you already know it ignore this. I'm so happy you've finally cracked it and I wish you all the success!

TheDude3DX

Looks interesting, thanks for the recommend!

Sounds like a compelling and complex storyline I remember your Lust Unleashed Awakening collaboration with Andy Guinness way back in 2017 Perhaps you could do something similar with your new back story with accompanying images- leaning heavily on the story and limiting the imagery to key elements Personally I’d love to see the backstory of Kayla’s transformation Looking forward to seeing what you decide to pursue in this next chapter of the Lust Unleashed universe

Torchy Tess

It took me a few tutorials on YouTube to understand it, but it changed the game for me.

I like the idea of filling in the back story through magazine articles such as the one that was done on Kayla. You can cover the key elements of that person's history in a magazine article or tv news piece (one where the female anchor is obviously a Carter customer, I mean who wouldn't if you could afford it). You could do it as an interview style with some clothed images of Yelena or Kayla for a magazine, or a tv article covering a major celeb party where some of the girls are attending. That means its not a massive time sink compared to trying to it as a massive graphic noel, filling in key elements as you go.

Even though I write very long comments about the stuff I want to see, I mostly default to telling you that you should do what you want/like. In this case I'd say you should not go with a novel for 2 main reasons: Visual focus of your work 200% agree that story is a massive force multiplier to a sexy picture. Seeing an image of Yelena riding Tatiana is awesome, but it's made 1000 times better knowing that Yelena is a pretty serious and cold person most of the time, except when she's riding the meat of a girl she loves, and screaming at Tati to call her "her whore queen". That being said, just reading this doesn't have the same impact as being able to see that beautiful image would have. I think most people are here for your beautiful art. Writing can definitely enhance it, but it would be a shame to reduce some awesome scenes that deserve art to just text. Novels as a big "static" lore-dump The other issue I'd see with a novel would be its monolithic nature. Wanting to revisit a particular sexy scene, or some important plot point is kinda hard to do in the hundred pages of a novel. Some people might not even get through it if they hit a snag or something. Having the story broken up in smaller parts makes it a lot easier to do that. Also it will allow you to make the story a more "living" history so to say and allow you to do retcons if needed. Let's say down the line you want to introduce a step-sister to Yelena, a rival to the throne, or perhaps have Breanna's mom be a lesbian and introduce another MILF. It's easier to revising and update smaller parts of the story in order to do that, or introduce new chapters, than just releasing another edited novel. So what I'd love to see is this: 1. A thorough "backbone" document. Similar to the timeline image you released some time ago, you could do a pdf with the timeline and mention the important events as well as in which set/comic/stories we can find this event shown. This will allow you to fill it out gradually and potentially go back and add things and even edit them if the need arises, all while keeping the story more digestible and easier to re-visit. 2. A short story/novella with images type of content. For example the old write-ups you did of Breanna's mom (you really should give her a name asap :D) going home and finding Breanna with Taylor doesn't particularly need a 200 image set comic. But it could work great with a couple of images next to the text. The MILF looking hot in her office clothes annoyed that she can't reach her daughter, Breanna and Taylor fooling around, and finally the mom walking in on them. Same with the short story with Kayla and Tatiana discussing their next plans with the senator. Just and image or two with the futas together would be nice to have next to the text. This format will work great with the parts of the story that have less sexy stuff in them. No one needs images of Kayla's father teaching her the ropes to the company, but it is a very important story point. 3. A mix of comics/short stories (with SOME visual aids)/novellas (with SOME visual aids)/brochures/(maybe bios) to create those moments. As I've said before not everything deserves to be a comic, if you need more space for text and not much to show, go for a story/novella. But some steamy scenes definitely need a comic. I would never imagine something like Yelena and Tatiana's first time as just lines of text. Doing everything as a novel limits you in the end imo. Also breaking it up into smaller pieces allows you to alternate between doing the background story and moving forward with new events. 4. Everything downloadable. Stranding stories in patreon posts should be a crime :D. PS: was never a huge fan of interviews. I'd rather have you shown your characters do/thing stuff than just answer a made-up reporter.

I wanted to type something similar in meaning with much less words. But after the read I don't have to.

TheDude3DX

These are good suggestions. I do think there's an inverse of your argument as well where some things lean them more to a story than to an image set so I definitely believe there's room for writing, but maybe doing a whole ass novel isn't the right way to go about it. That said a novel offers one type of freedom that I wouldn't get from doing image sets; I can write men in certain scenes (let's be honest I'm never gonna render, much less design men), which means that when it comes to people like Yelena's father founding Sokolsk or John Erskine offering Kayla her inheritance, I have the liberty to write those scenes out. Another thing I get from writing is that I don't have to rely on assets. So there is a storyline I have in mind for Kayla specifically that would be harder to develop in image sets simply because the assets I would need to visualise that, I simply don't have. So if I want to give these characters depth it helps to make em interact with a world that exists outside the scope of my 3D asset library. I think I overall agree with what you're saying though. I definitely see the advantages of delivering this piecemeal too, across a variety of mediums.

TheGreatCornholio

Fair enough about the inverse argument. Then my advice would be just break it up into text parts and stuff that deserves visual content. And the need for specific assets does indeed count. If a huge investment is required for something that will only see any use a single time, than that part of the content can definitely be text only.

BimboTits

I’m a massive lore nerd, so I just want to say that a greater understanding of the characters and world is almost as exciting to me as finding out the next image set will have my favorite of the girls. The changes to Yelena to be ruler of a city state over Russia is definitely needed, especially with that city state being practically a resort for indulgence. From a logical perspective it never made sense for Russia to fall under a monarchy again; if there was a violent revolution, after the authoritarianism of the Soviet Union and Putin I would hope that it would end up as a democracy. And being as I don’t feel the tone of a series about bimbo dickgirls fucking the hell out of each other isn’t supposed to be more on the grimdark side, I think this is a successful and honestly realistic work around. Geopolitically, I also don’t think that it would be particularly feasible for the head of state of one of the worlds largest countries to be a nymphomaniac and spend her entire life fucking dickgirls. The ruler of a hedonist city state? Absolute. Regarding the format of the story, I think the answer is entirely “it depends.” I do not see a need for several comics going into every single event of Kayla and Yelena’s rise. That seems excessive and would take away from the bimbo dickgirls were hear for. My understanding of the story is as goes for Kayla is 3 phases: Kayla inheriting Carter, develops Dickgirls and creates Marcella/Mari, the wedding and beyond. I believe in a timeline of this including image sets would be: Kayla inherits Carter, undergoes her transformation and develops Zenith, meets Tatiana (Legacy), develops Heiress treatment (The Museum/Gurl Within), creates Marcella and Mari (Kayla meets Marcella), Kayla sends Marcella off to monitor the Zenith recipients (Peak Performance), around the same time the rest of the girls go to Yelena’s and Imperium takes place(Imperium 1-3). The girls all go on vacation together on the yacht and Breanna and Mari get married (TPATB). Looking at that timeline laid out, I think the most pressing subject in need of a comic is Kayla’s evolution and Yelena and Tatiana meeting. What I would envision for Kayla is about 10-15 comic pages at each stage seen in her biography, each one explaining how she has changed and the underlying desires that remain. And then go into Legacy, and then her figure out how to make dickgirls and have it end with her giving herself her own cock and starting to create Marcella and Mari. Yelena would probably be a lot more straightforward and more in line with a traditional set. It could be at her coronation following her ascension, she meets Tatiana at the reception, and they fuck and Tati becomes Yelena’s consort and we get to know Valeria a bit more. Personally I think this would work best from Tati’s perspective and we see her seduce her way into Yelena’s life. Outside of this, I think fleshing out the world through interviews and brochures would be sufficient. Something else I think needs to be taken into consideration when doing image sets in the past compared to more recent sets is the girls appearances. Some people may not care about this as much, but for me visual continuity is paramount especially in a series that has such emphasis on the girls dicks. With that said, I think it would be very weird if the girls dick and breast sizes changed through the image sets. I currently think the increase in size works for as the story progresses: Tatiana and Kayla being bigger in Imperium than she was in legacy makes complete sense given they have access to genetic modification. But if they went from their current size down to the size they were, back to their current size (or larger, I remember a post a few months ago about making the girls cocks more distinct, and I think the same issue applies there as I don’t see these girls wanting to get smaller in any way), it would make some odd visual continuity. Apologies for the wall of text, I just want to convey my thoughts. Definitely excited to see the world get built out!

TheDude3DX

Yeah I really like this too. I'm leaning to a mix of methods like this as well as a series of short stories that I can publish as I please.

TheDude3DX

I definitely think Kayla's backstory is worth turning into a story. The question is just do I want to write a whole novel or do I want to keep it bitesize. Maybe bitesize is better?

Eppytaff

I love the idea of delving into the girls backstory , my preference would be a series of magazine articles , that way it's just enough text so as not to loose the reader in a wall of words and you could include images . If you think you have a novel in you bursting to get out though go for it. I always thought I had a book in me wanting to get out but I've ended up just writing filthy/pornographic/erotic short stories.....I used to work with an AI image generator, she would illustrate my words, we found that the majority of followers skipped the text and just went for the images though, very few actually read the stories.
