my hubs works at waffle house (we live downstate from you lol) he's got people who will literally only come in when he works bc apparently he's the only person who can cook different levels of "done" food for different people. i used to work there and had the same experience, ppl would literally ASK my schedule haha. if that doesn't tell you how most waffle houses are, idk what to say.
