First of all, I want to thank everyone who has supported me here on Patreon. I am very grateful and amazed by those who joined from the beginning and are still here, as well as those who joined along the way.

Antes que nada, quiero agradecer a todos los que me han apoyado aquí en Patreon. Estoy muy agradecido y sorprendido por los que se unieron desde el comienzo y que siguen presentes, así como a quienes se fueron sumando en el camino.

As I’ve mentioned before, Patreon isn’t my main source of income, but despite that, I’ve dedicated a lot of time to drawing and I feel I’ve improved a bit. I saved this extra income and used it for unforeseen expenses. I’d like to highlight two in particular: in April, I used part of it to pay for my dog's medication, and in September, for some personal medical expenses. I don't want to go into details, as I personally dislike it when people make posts sharing their misfortunes just to pull at heartstrings or get pity. That's not my style, but I do want to emphasize that thanks to your Patreon support, I was able to cover those unexpected costs.

Como les he comentado anteriormente, Patreon no es mi principal fuente de ingresos, pero aun así, le he dedicado mucho tiempo al dibujo y siento que he mejorado un poco. Este ingreso extra lo ahorré y lo utilicé para imprevistos. Quiero destacar dos sucesos: en abril usé parte de ese dinero para medicinas de mi perro, y en septiembre para unos gastos médicos personales. Why is this happening? A few days ago, I realized that someone has been leaking absolutely all of my Patreon posts. I'm almost certain who it is, but it's not worth mentioning them.

¿A qué se debe esto? Hace unos días me di cuenta de que una persona filtró absolutamente todas mis publicaciones de Patreon. Estoy casi seguro de quién fue, pero no vale la pena mencionarlo.

The first leaked post I noticed was the one with Baiser and Magia Azul. I published it one day, and the very next day, I found out it had been leaked, along with all my previous posts. With the subsequent updates, I confirmed that this "individual" was sharing them just hours after they went live.

La primera publicación filtrada de la que me percaté fue la de Baiser y Magia Azul; la publiqué un día, y al siguiente descubrí que ya estaba filtrada, junto con todo el contenido anterior. Posteriormente, con las publicaciones recientes, constaté que este "individuo" las compartía a pocas horas de haberlas subido.

These leaks happen on a site that hosts content from various creators, artists, and cosplayers. Out of respect for them, I won't name the site, but yes, everything an artist uploads to Patreon gets stored there. From what I understand, it works like this: someone pays for a Patreon tier, gets access to all the content, and then they can import everything to that site, even sharing private messages if the user allows it.

Las filtraciones ocurren en una página que alberga contenido de varios creadores, artistas y cosplayers. Por respeto a ellos, no diré el nombre del sitio, pero efectivamente, todo el contenido subido a Patreon se almacena ahí. Por lo que entiendo, funciona así: una persona paga una suscripción en Patreon, accede a todo el contenido, y con eso puede importarlo a esa página, incluso compartiendo mensajes privados si el usuario lo permite.

I'm sharing screenshots of just my "imported account" on that page. Here you can see a before-and-after of my newest October post being imported. Fun fact: when I discovered the site, I had 30 favorites, and now I have 35. In less than 3 days, 5 more people favorited me there.

Anyway, I don't want to drag this out. I think it's only fair to give you the context of why I made the decision to stop posting here. If you're wondering: yes, I will keep drawing, but more moderately and on other platforms, since it takes a lot of time and work. Translating and lettering in both Spanish and English, arranging scenes, and adjusting dialogue bubbles is all done by me alone, with no help.

En fin, no quiero alargar más el post. Creo que es justo darles el contexto de por qué tomé la decisión de dejar de publicar aquí. Y si se lo preguntan: sí, seguiré dibujando, pero de forma más moderada y en otras plataformas, ya que me toma mucho tiempo y trabajo. Escribir y rotular en español e inglés, acomodar las escenas y modificar los globos de diálogo es algo que hago yo solo, sin ayuda de nadie.

I also don't know if I'll continue the Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete story. I'm not sure if it was coming across clearly, but I was slowly crossing the story over to include characters from other anime so they would all share the same universe. I already had the appearances of more yuri characters written to casually run into the MahoAko cast. In fact, my idea was to build a larger audience so I could dedicate more time to drawing and post more often, because contrary to what some might think, I do write my stories before drawing them.

Tampoco sé si continuaré con la historia de Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete. No sé si se entendía del todo, pero estaba cruzando la historia para incluir personajes de otros animes de forma casual, uniendo todo en un mismo universo. Ya tenía escrita la aparición de más personajes yuri para integrarlos con MahoAko. De hecho, mi idea era ganar más audiencia para dedicarle más tiempo al dibujo y publicar más seguido, porque, a diferencia de lo que algunos crean, sí escribo y planeo mis historias antes de dibujarlas.
