(this post is just me having a case of the wah-wahs, please skip if you don't want to read some self-indulgent whining! Nothing sexy in this one, sorry XP thanks for your patience XP)

Hi, hope everyone is doing well today. I've suffered somewhat of a career set-back, nothing world ending, but I'm definitely not where I would like to be... it's one of those set-backs where I have to take stock and regroup and all that stuff. It's very disappointing just cuz I thought I might be making some headway toward my ultimate goal of being a "real" writer. I'm not out of the running yet, just... a little more work to do than I had hoped for. But I can't lie, it's definitely knocked me down for the last few days.

I'm going to be self-indulgent. If the spirit moves you, please reply to this post and tell me your favorite story of mine. You don't have to go into detail if you don't want to, even just listing a title or a chapter or an incident will be helpful for my ego. I know I'm just a smut monger here (lol) but I take this writing way more seriously than I should and it really does give me an absurd amount of joy to think that people enjoy what I write here. Besides, I guess maybe this is market research? lol it'll help me know what to write more of XD

Alice saga is phenomenal but another of my favourites is Megan the TA. It was great work, how she wound up with the whole class trying to fatten her up. Blowing her up into a huge fat girl. Such lovely work. 😍 Never liked the epilogue of her slimming down 😜😅

Trying to pick a favorite from your work is almost impossible! Anything with Laurie is great, especially towards the beginning of the threesome. Off the Force is also great, particularly as a big Brooklyn 99 fan. My favorite though has to be Gold Digger Strikes Gold. I love the point where she knows if she relents and eats the meal, that there is no return and she does it anyway. Perfect!

I love your devil spawn series, it’s so fun and sexy and a little bit morbid( in a good way). There’s no other fetish writer who I’d give my money to every month, because there’s no other fetish writer who makes me feel like I’m getting my moneys worth like you. I don’t know if this helps much but as an amateur writer myself, the thing that I admire about you most is your drive to always write more. I mean how many critically acclaimed writers can only put out one book every 10 years, I think the mark of a “real writer” isn’t that they get a ton of recognition, but that no matter what, they keep writing because they love it. that’s you, you’re the real deal.🫡

Hey Molly! I'm gonna tell you my favorite story after a long-winded rant Bobo-style. You are, almost without exception, one of my biggest inspirations in this part of my writing journey. Yours were the first stories that I've ever read, your DeviantArt and Patreon stats are the benchmarks that I hold my own to, and in general the creative indent that you have made in this part of my life cannot be overstated. While I'm sorry to hear about your recent troubles, I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that a writer of your skill and talent will not only be able to rise above your recent setbacks, but flourish as you overcome them. All that being said, my favorite story of yours is Country Stuffing (surprising absolutely nobody). The first two chapters are peak fiction, and her sister hooking the mc up to to dairy cow equipment while asking her to moo for her gets me every time. Here's hoping that things start looking up for you soon :)

Sorry to hear of your setbacks Molly. Of those you've written for me, the standout so far is Fat Ass Airlines and Wendi's blimp-sized derriere saving the day. And the Miss Hubbard stories, with the teacher being fattened by her pupils, are very dear to my heart. But all of them have been excellent. From Sabrina plumping up on her lottery jackpot to Annika the office boss becoming obese in lockdown, to your take on that Bud Light ad where the MILF-in-law has a gigantic rear end, I love them all. I was inspired to subscribe after reading your Marie Antoinette story Let Her Eat Cake. But been a casual reader for a long while. The best thing about your erotic writing is the variance, and how you are able to work in a range of different fetishes and genres, even if you don't share a kink yourself. I must say, you are one of the best fart fetish writers out there as well, and it's not even your 'thing'! xD Lastly, for now, you created the legends that are LAAJ (Laurie, Alice And Jen). Characters who are now so established and so well-defined that you can have fun with their situation and setting, and yet not lose the essence of who they are. I don't want all my future commissions to be Alice spin-offs, but it's so tempting when these girls can go literally anywhere, even as the main series remains rightly grounded. A truly awesome achievement. Kudos to you Molly. I hope I've fed your ego almost as much as you feed your gals.

Your early work from your old (angelfire? geocities?) site was foundational for me (particularly... Heather, Mandy, Megan, Jenna, Jessica). Of your more recent work one story that I really loved was a brief one about a girl working at a Hooters-type restaurant (the title escapes me at the moment). I also enjoyed Love in the Maternity Ward quite a bit. I am primarily into (semi-)intentional gaining stories or unabashed gluttony with no care for the consequences where the gaining is very much focused on the belly. The fact that this isn't really your area but that I've remained a reader for so, so long I think should speak to the quality of your work!

Hello Molly, sorry to hear that it seems you've had a bit of a run in here. Always sucks when something sends you off course. Just saying how even the non-erotic parts of your writing here work, I know you'll get there with enough time and perseverance. Whether it be publishers that don't know what they want/bargained for, word counts that keep on ballooning out, deadlines that keep on coming sooner than expected, or any other reason, they'll come and go, and by the end of it, you'll be the same good writer you always have been. In terms of favorite stories, I'll be a bit morbid and taboo and say Hefty Consequences was great. It was a really cool delve into darker fetishes and kinks while retaining a good sense of humour and focusing on what makes that taboo stuff hot.

I have a lot of favorites from your stories: from favorite stories like The Doctor's Agenda and the Off the Force sequel, to favorite scenes like Alice getting stuck in the tub or stuffed with pancakes, struggling to waddle away from the table. On a more personal level, you've always been one of my favorite writers from the very start. Your work's been a huge inspiration to me, to the point where I'm not sure if I would have ever taken commission work without it. Hell, my first comm was a Laurie fanfic! Setbacks suck and I'm sorry you have to deal with them, but there's no shame in taking time to regroup before getting back to it. Stay tough, Molly. Wishing the best.

I have read A LOT of weight gain kink fiction over the years (like an absolutely shameful I really need curb this addiction amount). There are very few writers that even come close to the quality of your work, especially in terms of being able to unlock the core aspects of this kink. I think by now you've probably covered just about every aspect of it, and done it better than pretty much anyone else. On a psychological level, I think this kink can be impressively nuanced, getting that right in a short story format can be rather difficult. I often feel like I have a better understanding of "why I'm like this" after reading one of your stories, even the silly ones :) Yes, I'm definitely reading your work for all the wrong reasons, but I believe I get repeated enjoyment from it so much for all the right reasons. You're a skilled craftsperson and it is very much a blessing that you chose to hone your skills on kink fiction.

So many moments. Love the Heather stories, and the "escape from fat camp" bits in early Alice, especially her reaction when she realises Tyler has come to save her. But the one I always return to is Laurie’s date with Frank in Alice 22. From Jen helping her bossy bestie squeeze her belly into her girdle, to Laurie's treatment of Frank—haughty and disdainful on the surface, but hungry and maybe, just maybe a little self-conscious beneath. The dynamic between them is beautiful. Not to mention hot. I remember gripping the carpet with my toes when Laurie, stuffed up to her eyeballs and writhing with indigestion, leans forward to lick cheesecake from Frank’s finger 🥵 Sorry to hear about the setbacks. Whatever happens you are an amazing writer. Your stories have brought so much joy, excitement and laughter into my life over the years, and of course inspired my own tubby triumvirate. I wouldn’t be doing something I love and care about - writing my own stories here - if it wasn’t for you, and I'm eternally grateful. Never give up, and keep being you. OK, real-world flex: I worked as a high-level editor for national publications for about 15 years of my career; I have also written multiple books. I still write for a living, and I have never stopped editing copy. I have seen effortlessly brilliant prose from naturally gifted people, and I have seen some hot garbage that should never have been submitted by someone calling themselves a professional. Trust me when I say this: You are not the latter. You are a real writer.

I know this old but there are so many great mollycoddles story moments, one that stands out to me as one of the hottest but also arguably the big turning point/most important paragraph for me in the Alice story: “Can you imagine it, Jen? Our fat little piggy here, even fatter,” she laughed, patting Alice’s big bouncy belly. Laurie picked up another cookie and crammed it into her mouth. No reason to hold back now. If Alice kept eating like she had tonight, she’d be a blimp in no time. And the fatter Alice was, the thinner she would look. She imagined what Alice would look like when they were done with her – an enormous globe of a girl. Perhaps that loser boyfriend of hers could roll her to school." Laurie has just begun her quest to fatten Alice but still can't help but cram another cookie into her greedy mouth, as there is "no reason to hold back now." Her restraint has gone out the window and the foreshadowing she will balloon up insanely is just brilliant. You are a truly incredible writer!
