There's a speical kind of joy you get as a reader when you read something you *know* the author is enjoying. Not something they're slugging out, not something they're meeting a deadline with, but loving what they're doing, and god I get that here in spades. The entire design of Jen and Laurie's punishment experience is so well executed. The entire framing works almost like something you'd see in a movie about high school feuds, but the way you lean into the kink here is really fun. I've also gotta shout out Laurie's dazed fantasy/alternate reality. I've always been fascinated by the idea of alternative Alice timelines, and you've written it so well, with such a lovely focus on all the cheerleaders here.
