Just a silly bonus post about why it's so important to clean out the cat's water fountain........ I was doing it anyway and thought I'd share :)

I've also discovered that my phones rear camera is kinda funny and looks jittery. Oh well....hopefully this isn't too silly :D

Not silly at all ;)... always cool to learn some new stuff😋... we have a similar thing for our 2 dogs.... but wayyyyy bigger.... and honestly...I'm glad that my parents clean that thing🤭😅 while I do the walks with them😅🤭

I had one of these for my cats, but all 3 were scared of it XD I knew they got dirty, but I didn’t know they got THAT filthy and so quickly! Very good PSA for cat owners

I'm so impressed Hank. My cat Bramble spends most of his life in the woods next to my house and will only drink out of a big tin bowl at the back door. I get the algi thing as I see it with the bowl. Anyway keep the talks coming, I love your so handsy and Bramble says hi to the boys. 😺

My cat is too afraid of anything that makes noise, so he has his ceramic bowl that I wash with his special sponge. But people don't realize anything that is submerged in water very quickly gets covered with algae, bacteria, and other gunk and needs to be cleaned frequently. Having had an aquarium when I was younger I can vouch for the disgusting clean that was the filter. Just like this, total take apart, scrub scrub scrub, new charcoal/filter, and reattach. But with fish we also had to clean and scrape the sides of the tank itself. The pleccy didn't always do the best job, and I think he may have had low self esteem. In addition, 18 minutes in I said "wait, so this is all for Jake?!" Elwood gets his cup and sits in the sink and Jake has his fancy shmancy fountain. 😂😺 Cats, gotta love em! ♥️🐾 Also, you are a top notch Cat Dad for being so diligent to their hygiene and health. I'm sure Jake thanks you. 🐈‍⬛

I have the fountains. 3 of them. They get absolutely grimey. And slimy. We only have one cat but 2 dachshunds & they all love using them.
