TRIGGER WARNING: This audio deals with loss..

I've been talking about doing this audio for quite a while and it's definitely out of the ordinary but I've had quite a few requests to do an audio about mourning a loss and this is what I came up with.

I hope it helps anyone who needs it.

Going to listen after my kids go to bed. I have a feeling this will bring me to tears especially since this year marks 10 years since my mom passed

I was just thinking about someone very special that I lost a few years ago, thinking how much I miss them, and this notification popped up. Thanks for this. I’m half way through this and your voice is comforting enough :))

Thank you so much for this. Grief is so weird. On most days, it’s hidden somewhere at the back of my mind and then all of a sudden it resurfaces and I completely lose it and there’s nothing I can do but learn to deal with their absence. Oh to be cursed like this.

Thank you Hank ❤️

It's a very difficult and complex topic to cover completely in one audio but I'm hoping it helps in some way for anyone who needs it :)

Amanda

Love this audio but reading the comments from other listeners makes me think I must not handle grief the way other people do I've been to several funerals and never shed a single tear at any of them.

Rose

Thank you for this. Just thank you, Hank.

Oh my, this was so raw.... but beautiful 🥹 Grief is a time thief, the days can pass so quickly, and take you further away from the last time you were with someone. When my dad passed away I couldn't figure out why my lip was bruised.... it was because I was biting back the tears. When my mum passed away, I didn't try to stop them. It's okay not to be okay. Sending love and a tight embrace to all those who need it. A very touching audio ❤️ Thank you Hank 🫂 ❤️🐝

Fizzy ❤️

Oh my goodness, you finally made one! Thank you so much Hank! This means a lot. Sending love and hugs to everyone. ❤️❤️❤️

Hank, thank you so much for this. It shows perfectly that It's so important to have people around which are simply there and listen. That's one of the most needed things.

didn’t plan on tearing up today, grief comes in so many (weird) ways. Anger, Sadness, Confusion, Even happiness. it doesn’t go away, but it does get better over time even if in that moment it feels like the world is ending. the thing you portrayed so beautifully is that you just need that someone that will listen to you, be there for you and cares for you. thankyou for this audio. 🖤

Thank you, Mr. M. You, literally gave voice to what it's like seeing grief from the outside. Almost like a playbook for helping those who are mourning. Just be there. Be it from a small distance, or directly in their arms. Show love. Whether it's with words, acts of service, or with a comforting silence. In short, show up and show love.

Damn. Ya know when you didn’t realize you needed something until after you get it? This. This is what I needed. Thank you Hank for tackling such a painful and emotional topic. I can’t speak for others but damn, I needed this.

I'm in a good enough place to know that if I listen to this it will WRECK me, so I won't. But I still want to say thank you for making it, because I know there have been times in my life where it would have helped and, judging by the comments, it's doing so much good for others right now ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Sarah

I haven’t listened to this yet. Because, A. I want to be mindful of when I listen because I know that it’ll make me emotional & B. Because I know without a doubt that this is going to be an audio that I hold very dear to my heart, & I want to make sure when I listen it can have my undivided attention and that I can think about it & probably write a bit in my journal after. But, ahead of listening, I want to say thank you for creating this audio. Being brave enough to tread into the territory of grief. It really helps to not feel alone in this sadness. Reading the comments of how many people this helps is very moving & I hope you know how special that is. You being brave enough to put yourself in a vulnerable enough position in order to create this. As my Dad would say, you’re poking holes in the darkness & letting the light in to help others on their own path. You’re a good man, Hank Miller. And I am so grateful that the universe conspired to have my path cross with yours when I needed it most. As ever & always… thank you, Hank. 🩷

This really helped me, I just lost my mom the day before yesterday and it helped me get my emotions out and let me know it’s okay to feel sad 💔😭

Heidi

Hank, There are... so many words, but at the risk of over-sharing, I'll keep it brief: I cried through the whole thing. 13.5 years and I still feel so broken at times - this was such a comfort. I really hope you know how appreciated you are. Thank you 💛💛💛

I had to muster up the courage to listen to this audio...and exactly as I suspected, I cried through the whole thing...there's so much truth in it, so much pain, so many honest words...you're a person with a huge ♥️ Hank, thanks for that

Anita

What a heartfelt audio, Hank! 🥹🥺 Thank you for tackling this topic! I will never get tired of those hugs. It’s funny how I can feel them just from your voice alone. 🥹❤️

You have no idea how much this was needed. Thank you Hank. 🩵
