Help me pick the best sounding overdrive pedal...

I just enjoyed hearing you play, such a talent. In my opinion, I liked 4, 6, and 7, but yeah, this was fun.

Your choice does sound the more natural, but I like the Rat🐀 If you’re ever planning to sell it, give me 1st dibs 🙏

Nancy

I agree that the Nobels is the most natural sounding. In second place probably the RAT. The "pre-lawsuit" Centaur sounds very muddied and I don't like that. The rest just seem to scream. And why would they put a 'more' option on an overdrive pedal? Do they think it should sound massively tinny and distorted? My opinion. But whatever the cats decide is obviously what you should go with, they have great taste. 😉🎸🤘🏼

My catch phrase is “good enough for jazz.” 😂 The rat has a certain underbite, if you will, that I like but I agree that the “no balls” has a more natural overdrive production than the others

This was fun! 🔥 So, that was Kitsune as your guitar, right? 🤔 As far as the pedals go, I’m with you on the second to last one (second from the left). It sounded the cleanest and still warm. With some of the stuff you played, I also kinda liked the white one, but more for “screamier” stuff. The RAT also screams pretty good, but the white one is a bit warmer while doing it. I also thought that the silver one sounded a bit tinny. 🙈 The first one has quite a warm and round sound to it, which could be nice for some occasions. It probably all depends on what sound you want to get.

I don’t know anything about pedals but I really like the 3rd and 6th one! Sounds crisp to me 😩

I clicked on it expecting Elwood would show uuup😫 Hank kept chanting some spell or code… Ugh🙄(Hello, Elwood and Jake👋 Of course, Hank👋) But for the first jam, I liked all the pedals except the 1st one. Ibanez one sounded better after listening a few times. The next jam was just like a second audition lol. Sounds I thought were good started turning bad. And the one I liked in both jams was the 6th one. The sound quality felt stable and clean in both jams. The Vox one sounds good but a bit wild. It’s cute that Hello Kitty is on it, though😄 The first one looks good, but the sound is like a toy…😂 But listening to Hank playing, I guess some pedals work well with certain song styles and playing techniques, and others don’t. The 6th pedal seemed like it could handle a wider range of scales and playing styles than other pedals😊
