After doing a little digging I learned that this song was released in 1970 and was a huge hit for them in Korea.

I can see why you have this on repeat… it is a really good listen. And yes, although you can’t understand what is being said, the vibe and the music itself makes it fun to listen to😌😊

This song's jacket and music style reminds me of a singer who was popular in my country around the same time🤔😂 The singer here is called The Peanuts, but I looked it up and found out that the Pearl Sisters actually had an American-style sound. I’ve noticed that many modern Korean songs blend American and Japanese elements, but it’s interesting to see that history repeated from back then😄 Looking into it more, I found the historical background and it’s interesting! It’s really stimulated my curiosity and made me want to dig into my country's music and history from that era😂 Thanks for the inspiration😊

I don't listen to much K-Pop music, but occasionally here and there. I was wondering if you have found any or know of any male singers who you have found to be good. I usually go by recommendation when listening to K-Pop and, aside from the boy bands, have not been suggested any male singers as of yet. Just curious. I like this song, it's fun and is one that I can see being on repeat while doing some house cleaning out work. Sort of like Me. Lee by The Bobbettes, that always gets me grooving.

Man i never leaving comments but korean korean myself so shocked that u found out pearl sisters!! lmao title is prounouced 'shee-ruh' which are like shi from shit and rou from rough but more 'uh' from 'uh-huh' with softer vowel sounds. Sorry for bad explanation yet hope this helps for humming and vibing! Wow how did you find that song! Super cool and unbelievable situation for me as a music lover lolll If you wanna dig more old korean band songs than i'd recommend 산울림 (Sanwoolim) which is one of my favorite band. Please listen 내 마음에 주단을 깔고(Spread Silk on My Heart) which has amazing guitar part. Their songs were super hit back then and still called classics! Also vocal bandman himself still doing music so look them up for more!

i just learnd a little. one song of the singers became popular again thanks to TV series, around 2016 and l 2020.seem like niche right now, it's fun that you found it, so i have to chance to hear . The process of listening and looking for clues is interesting. Here's an introduction to this album(1980) background : Shin Jung-hyun (Korean rock godfather, He's got a really rock 'n' roll life)was moved by the sincerity of the Park Eun-jin and Park In-soo sisters, who also worked at the 8th Army Art Troupe(US troops in Korea). He handed over all his compositions that he'd already written but had nowhere to publish them. Shin Jung-hyun's band handled the arrangement and performance, and he had the sisters try singing in a rock style. The album recording process went very smoothly. Shin Jung-hyun stood up to the pressure from the record label and created this original album titled "Dear! / A Cup of Coffee" in his own preferred style(1968).kind of Psychedelic rock. He also gave the sisters the stage names Pearl Sisters
