Okay MacGyver, next time I'm tossing in a pair of wire strippers/cutter, electrical tape, those hanging tap lights from Harbor Freight and some car fresheners into your tool box. Glad to see her running again though I'm not surprised she took extra cranks to get started; I'd be grumpy too if left for a year and a half! When she gets fully operational (if not so now), where will Goldie be in the car use rotation? My understanding is Christine is summer car and Black Beauty is the winter vehicle (unless I have those swapped...).

Oh I love Black Beauty too! This one holds a special place for me. It was junk when I bought it for $400 but I rebuilt the whole thing and now she's a showstopper 😎

It takes a long long time to get the gas from tank to the carburetor with a mechanical pump as opposed to an electric one. You just have to give it time. This one and Christine basically share summer duties with Black Beauty filling in on rainy days. They both need a good trailer run.. and speaking of air fresheners, I just bought a new one of those tree shaped ones in the traditional Royal Pine scent 😎

Only the best scent for the best! I imagine Goldie looks gorgeous at the trailer in the fall with the autumn foliage...though is the rain issue due to water, mug, salt, etc. hitting the undercarriage?
