When I go to the 100Yen store, I always buy things that I don't need, and I've often experienced that I shouldn't go shopping when I'm hungry, so when I heard that, I thought, "That's so true... !!!!!" 😂

R-E-S-P-E-C-T the driveway, Hank! Put a large piece of cardboard under your pan. I always keep the large boxes that get delivered to us for that purpose or spray painting.

Love the dollar store because it’s supposed to be cheap but I always end up spending a little fortune 🤦🏼‍♀️

Can't wait to hear about the fun you have planned for us. 🤗

Ok now I'm hungry, my mum was Italian and made the best spaghetti 🍝enjoy your food and tbe rest of your day 💕💕

I miss Sundays at Nonna’s - handmade pasta, Sunday gravy and meatballs the size of a man’s fist. I haven’t had that since moving and mmmmmm...I miss it! Enjoy!!

Andrea A.

Haha please take me with you! Pasta is my favorite dish, especially when it's swimming in sauce, and I also love Dollarama! My brother and I used to walk to our local one to load up on weekend snacks all the time 😋

My family are in Naples, my nonna and zia were amazing cooks, not passed down to me unfortunately 😂😂

Oh she will take her gravy recipe to the grave. She is so stubborn! She moved to the States at 14 to get married. She’s from a little town called Cassino. It’s just north and west of Naples.

There's a few recipes I would have loved to have gotten from my mother..... no such luck.. but I think my sister knows them ;)

It's a tough call sometimes. I love Snickers but they also have Coffee Crisp, Twix and Kit Kat so I usually just grab all 4 😂

All excellent choices! Except (don't hate me 😬) I'm not the biggest fan of Coffee Crisp only because I'm not a coffee drinker. But anything chocolate is still good!

The last time I asked her she gave me vague instructions, half in Italian, and I’m pretty sure cussed me out while she was at it - lol! My grandmother is a beautiful, blonde, Italian spitfire. Convincing her to do anything she has her mind set against is like one of Labors of Hercules.

Aww you're so sweet! (Literally 🍫😂) And in exchange I can cook you all the spaghetti you could ever want! My mom has this excellent meat sauce recipe that she got from her friend 🍝

witch's brew

We're still in a bit of a summer. We usually do till mid October. Northern California summers linger for quite some time. I know about that dollar store feeling We actually just opened a Daiso near me, which is like a Japanese version dollar store that's made its way to North America. It's got so many international goodies and I'm like gimme!!! 😂 I needed a new folder for a class and their line of school supplies are DisneySea japan official. Oh the nostalgia! I have to go back. I grabbed some seaweed munchies, a toothbrush stand (which I actually needed because mine broke) and I was out the door. But I will return. Just not on my lazy Sunday

ha! splooshed! ok. sorry. that made me giggle. I hate you (but not really) i'm on the ketogenic diet, so your description of pasta just gave me feels ...and tummy rumbles 🤤

Gina

of course now I want a fall audio featuring thigh-high socks and an oversize sweater!!
