Hello everyone!I wanted to put something to you all!I get a LOT of requests for BTS content over in my YouTube comments. And no matter how much I talk about Patreon a lot of folks just don't realise that there is BTS content over here.So I  was wondering how you'd all feel about me releasing one piece of behind the scenes content publicly to promote the Patreon?I have here a rather wonderful 'Part 1' of a behind the scenes for The Toybox that I hope to release tonight. Would people be okay with me making it public? It'd just be this one video to let people know that behind the scenes stuff does exist and that they can find more over here!I wanted to make sure this was okay with you all, see how you felt about it, as of course you are the ones funding it and making it possible!Let me know what you think!Much love (and happy Pride month!)Stupes

I support it! The BTS is absolutely one of my favorite perks of being a patron and I'm sure, since the demand is so high, that releasing a tidbit publicly and letting people know they can access the rest right here will give them the opportunity to become patrons as well.

Honestly, I’m not really here for exclusive content, I’m here because I want to give you money, so the exclusivity of BTS stuff was more just a side benefit for me. That being said, as a promotional idea, posting some BTS stuff publicly would probably go a long way to getting more people over here.

Totally fine! Don’t mind at all. I’d still support you even if you didn’t put out any Patreon content, your otherwise free main channel content is more than enough! Anything that’ll get you more support is great in our book.

Yes! Please do, as much as i love to be able to get special stuff from supporting you as a patreon, the opportunity of having people joining in and supporting you doing this beats anything. Doing this with the toybox BTS would be amazing since it is a song that had a lot of momentum and people joining your channel so it is a great idea!! Hope lots of people discover how great and rewarding your patreon is ( BTS, backgrounds, art, archives and a capella songs, special discord channel, OOAK mugs and shirts...) For real, let's all retweet that so it gets to a lot of people and you get income to do more amazing stuff!!

Like many others have said, that sounds like great marketing. I'm all for that :) And thank you for asking the patrons for their opinion. If you had said you were letting us know you were going to start releasing a mini or half bts episode for each video for promotion purposes, I would've been completely ok with it. That you wanted your patrons to be ok with it -before- you made that decision is so stupendium of you and why I love supporting you and your work!

Releasing all or part of every 5 or so behind the scenes videos to market the Patreon would probably be a good idea, as it gives an example of the Patreon rewards and teases the locked videos at the same time.

Absolutely go for it! As others have said, I'm just here to support your fantastic content and your fantastic self and any rewards are just an extra bonus. Letting people know what all is on your Patreon is a really good idea and this is a good way to get the word out. Thanks for all you do!

I think that sounds like a great idea! The Toybox is probably one of your most impressive videos yet, from an editing standpoint, so I'm sure many would love to get an inside look on how it was made! Better yet, it'll help to promote your Patreon for people who may want to see more.

Man, what a supportive community here! Not a NAY in the bunch. ☺️ I agree that you should totally share a BTS. I dunno how the algorithm would reward/punish you for putting TOO MANY out there, but there will definitely be an initial interest. And hopefully the draw to Patreon will be worth it in the long run. On one hand, I can see why there could be a knee-jerk gate-keeping reaction. Like “Hey! I’ve been paying for BTS all this time, why should THEY just get it for free?” But I, like many others here, are just delighted to see your channel grow, and would love nothing more than for others to appreciate all the work you do. Your Patreon is already super generous. I’m relatively new here, but being able to go back and pick out any of your old songs was WELL worth the initial 1 month of admission. And incidentally, I just received your Mug with all the funny colors from “Room for Improvement.” I think it’s already my absolute favorite piece of Content-creator merch that I own. You owe me nothing sir, but it’s cool to know that you respect that Creator/Patron contract enough to ask first. 😉👍

I think it' a good idea, and I'd personally even be fine with you putting them out semi-regularly, or maybe even putting them all out, but significantly delayed behind Patreon backer access
