I appreciate the narrative direction. This whole time Eris had beef with Orsted, while Rudy wanted nothing to do with him. These motivations conflicted until this exact moment, where Man-God directs Rudy towards Orsted to save his family. Now, Rudy and Eris' goals are aligned. Rudy doesn't know this, so he didn't ask her to join, but it's a really good funnel for both characters to come together narratively. And it was done in a way the viewers would not have expected just an episode ago. Great writing.
