Will

This was the start of World War Two and fascist were basically nazis. That is why Tommy hates Mosley so much.

MattyB207

Fun fact: The guy who plays Barney (Cosmo Jarvis) stars in 'Shögun'.

Will

Also that moment when Barney was talking to Tommy and said why he wanted to live I feel like Tommy was also asking for himself questioning why he should also keep living and barneys response helped him.

Michael McGloughlin

Mosely was basically the Hitler of Britain at the time. He wanted to start a Fascist movement in England just like Hitler did in Germany and Mussolini did in Italy at the time. I won't tell you anything more about him in case its spoilers for the show.

Gary Perry

Music from both Joy Division and Black Sabbath in this episode, coool!

Josh

YO I JUST REALIZED BARNEY IS PLAYED BY COSMO JARVIS, ANJIN-SAMA ON SHOGUN FUCK YEAH

Robin Lee Melendez

First time I watched this I was horrified to learn Mosely was a real guy. If anything, the show has made him less monstrous. I think it was last episode where he's describing meeting Mussolini & creating a British fascist party. When he said to Tommy "the 1930's will belong to us" I legit got chills, because he wasn't wrong.

Robin Lee Melendez

I love that the show uses so many UK bands/musicians, especially from northern England. Black Sabbath came out of Birmingham just like the Peaky Blinders! Perfect song choice too

Gary Perry

Agreed, the fact that this show uses modern music in , what is a period drama, makes it unique and works so well!

JC Flores

Loving this! Hope you guys get a peaky blinders souvenir to add to the collection on the background! 😄

Gelon

Same! Right!!

Annette Gilbert

Moseley's speech is quoted for the most part from an actual speech by Oswald Mosley!

Annette Gilbert

They can't kill off Moseley....his party wasn't closed down for a long time and this part of the show is historically accurate!
