For reference I didn’t play the games. So my question is did yall like the 2nd game? I’m seeing so many game players saying how much they hated the 2nd game and wish they changed Joel dying in the show. And are yall ok w the changes that have been made so far? I personally have loved season 2 and don’t get some of the hate. Was just curious to people who played the 2nd game. Love the reactions!!

It's my favorite game of all time, it's one of my favorite stories ever... a lot of the hate came from leaks. After we played the game, read a bunch of stuff about how the key story points were revealed without much context and people went into the game hating it. -S

Gotcha that makes a lot of sense! I didn’t play the games (although im going too) but I am 100% with you. And maybe you answered this part but not sure, are you ok w some of the changes that have been made so far?

Fine with the changes up to episode 2 - wasn't a huge fan of some of the changes in 3 but this was a bridge episode it seems

Actors receiving hate for playing a role baffles me. If you hate a character you’re supposed to hate, then the actor did a great job. (Jack Gleason as Joffrey in GoT comes to mind). You don’t have to like the casting, but that’s not her fault either. Kaitlyn Dever has been tremendous so far as Abby.

my opinion based on NO ONES other comments is shallow i guess but in a time where content is available and time is limited... I was FULLY ABOARD with Pedro as a main co lead in this bizarre but cool world etc. When he was killed so quickly... I like the female lead... loved her younger too in GOT... she just doesnt have enough "It" to carry a show. Then throw in a lesbian kiss and im out... zero plot advancement with that.... just suprfluous political grandstanding which has lost studios hundreds of millions on snow white and billions worldwide. Go woke go broke. If sexuality were baked into the script and important.... fine... i personally wont leave a show for JUST that... i sadly know many who will and i want good film and content made and funded... dont shoot yourselves in the financial foot to make a society point unrelated at all to the shows betterment. I can name a dozen movies without thinking with gay lesbian and wild characters I loved... so please dont pile on me... its plot based with me... and logic based with scripts unless their sci fi for example. I read an article about nearly half the ratings going down... i guess theres a video game to this... i wonder if that had a gay lead show up later... at least there would be some angle on why... but most of us are not gamers... I wish the show well and the female lead, i do like her and think she will do well as an actress in the future. Ill keep an eye from a distance if pedro is somehow re incarnated into a plant or something... it sucks... i spent hours watching really wonderful bonding videos of them watching the first cuts of the film together, sharing great chemistry that hooked me day one!!! frankly him dying in ONLY the second episode was misleading to fans of just good entertainment. If someone wants to disagree.... free world here, please keep it fact based on my comments about the script and decisions and remember THE reason i left was HIS death. The lesbian angle was just annoying and un needed. Not personal. I have no hate.
