Huh? This won’t be ready till next week. 1x7 hasn’t even been posted yet and won’t be till tomorrow.

Jacob Livingston

I don’t think Maximus ever said he did it. I thought immediately denied doing it.

I am so excited to be able to watch season 2 week to week with yall!!! I was late on this show as well, and once I watched couldn’t believe how good it is. They nailed it.

Fern

Thank you! I've had a crap day at work. I needed this.

Great reaction! So glad you enjoyed the show and are enjoying Fallout 4. Not sure if you caught it but when Coop was sitting the the office listening in on his wife's pipboy during that big meeting, that was Betty (the current overseer of Vault 33) who was coming in and out of the room, and eventually introduced Coop to Hank (Henry). So she was one of the ones who was frozen.

Yeah Moldaver didn't work for Vaultec they bought her company so they could shelve it, Google style. The "we do it ourselves" thing is probably a mislead too - whilst we don't actually know why the war started, we have a few clues, they might have intended to do it as a backup but.. Well, put it this way, if they started the war, why was the daughter with her father - which implies Vaultec didn't know it was going to start, which is a big red flag they didn't. Still absolutely psychopathic - it might not have been the intent either, because the brain on a roomba aka Bud talks about wiping the surface clean as a future plan and that could be what they meant. What's interesting about this one is there's a lot of original music and a lot less older known popular music compared to other episodes; they've announced a new game, it'd be cool if they got Ramin Djawadi to do the music for it.

I like the idea of nikki playing through New Vegas. The story might have important elements that will be shown in the 2nd season. The New California Republic had a foothold in Vegas which is important to the story of Fallout New Vegas.

Playing New Vegas is a good idea. They have factions, certain people, and creatures from the game in the second season (creators dropped a preview). It's also considered to be the best fallout from the community. It is a little dated in terms of graphics and mechanics compared to Fallout 4, as it is an older game. Definitely worth playing though. It's a great game and would give more info on New Vegas lore.

Great reaction to this awesome finale! I loved how invested you two were in this and I can't wait for Season 2. I think Nikki should play New Vegas. It's the only Fallout game that I've played all the way through, including all four DLC's. It is so much fun and has a phenomenal story. You said in the review that you wanted more information about Vault 32, but we got it already - it just didn't make sense until the finale. Vault 32 and 33 were the same, both taking in frozen Bud's Buds from 31 for the purposes of breeding new assistants and governing them. The residents of 32 ended up finding out the purpose of their existence and all hell broke loose. That happened two years prior to the raid on 33 by Moldaver, as Norm saw that the last bio data registered on one of the 32 dwellers Pip-boys was two years ago. Also with Norm and Chet's investigation, we saw the Overseer in 32 strapped to his chair and clearly tortured. There were blood messages painted saying "We know the truth" and "Death to Management". In the first episode, Hank said that the 32 Overseer had passed away (he presumably found out from a message on the computer from Bud's brain in 31). Lucy's marriage to someone from 32 was the "triennial trade". So part of Bud's Buds plan was to only have the residents of 32 and 33 communicate in-person once every 3 years. It was probably to keep the chances of 32 and 33 grouping together and rebelling against 31 as low as possible. I like to think that the reason 32 found out the truth and rebelled was because someone had the same curiosity that Norm did when he was questioning why they always elected an Overseer from 31. I think the Bud's Buds idea was always going to result in this. The idea to breed and raise a large number of "management" types is bound to have some of those people being so intelligent that they question the status quo and keep asking "why". That was Norm, and precisely why I like him so much! PS. To Nikki's comment that Bud's brain looks like a Roomba - I'm not sure if you two watch with subtitles or not, but the subtitles on Prime refer to it as "Brain-on-a-Roomba" which gave me a good laugh during my first watch. 😂

if you recall there was one guy in the shadows during that Vault-tec confab with the competition. We haven't seen who that is but he directly messaged ghoul's wife on her pip-boy during that meeting so my guess is one of the big reveals next season will be who that is. Love this show and your guys reactions to it.

jim shields

they could have done it but not told her. since he is still looking for his "family" my guess is they went to a vault. but he for some reason didn't get in.

Nikki - I would definitely say hell yes to you starting New Vegas. As you can tell from the end of the episode, since that's where Hank ran off to, it's going to be part of season two, so definitely wouldn't hurt to familiarize yourself with some of the lore/factions/general area surrounding New Vegas.

streaky

Well, it's probably clearer what happened to him because he talked about moving to Bakersfield which is where Vault 12 was, if you know you know. As for not telling her, she seems fairly central to the plans, seems incredibly unlikely they'd say "oh hey, let's let her daughter get nuked" - I mean it's possible, but I doubt it.

Really enjoyed rewatching season one with you guys. Also the way you talk about Walton Goggins you have to watch JUSTIFIED. Steve would have a new Bro-mance dude and its not Walton Goggins. Please watch it when you can fit it in.

Tanner Herlihy

Walton Goggins is great as Cecil in Invincible too, although I doubt these two would watch it :(

Uncool Ghoul
