I thought the finale was awesome. I loved it. Of course there are things that they could have done different or better. Overall though, I thoroughly enjoyed it and was extremely satisfied with it. All the people still hating on the show just never liked stranger things or just really really hate will coming out. And I’m with you Steven I originally didn’t care if any main characters died and you convinced to me where I was on board and thought a big death needed to happen, but I’m actually happy without how they did it. This show has brought me so much happiness and great memories, I will rewatch the series a million times. HAPPY NEW YEAR NIKKI AND STEVEN!!!!!

The Duffer Brothers have revealed that the rock in the briefcase is essential to the ‘STRANGER THINGS’ spinoff. And that there are no plans for any spinoffs for Hopper/Joyce in Montauk, or Holly Wheeler.

For me it feels like El is alive, cause she was just standing there in the middle of all that strong wind and debris flying everywhere not even flinching, she felt like a projection of Kali's. That wind was tearing apart houses, but El didn't even budge once. Also the moment of Kali realizing El deserves a chance at a life while she was pointing the gun at Hopper is kinda pointless if she just ends up sacrificing herself like Kali originally wanted.

N&S - Fun fact (since you asked at the end) - that waterfall where Eleven was is called Háifoss in my home country of Iceland. I've been there and it's beautiful, love that they filmed it there. I liked this finale personally. People will always gripe about something but I liked it & I'll miss these characters. The characters made the show, imo. Love the channel & Happy 2026!

At the very least the parents should've died in episode 2 of season 5, Karen surviving that big slash to her throat by the demigorgon was ridiculous. And that really showed how much plot armor all these characters have, and that only newly introduced characters are the only ones with a chance of dying.

I loved the finale. Sure, there were things missing, and no one of the main crew died as I expected, but that's fine. I didn't want anyone to die, anyway. Expecting it, and wanting it to happen are two very different things. My least favorite is same as Nikki's. I didn't need to see the young adults storyline. They just looked like the bunch of actors saying their good-byes. I did, however, like the young crew playing D&D one last time. It's fitting, since that's where we met them at the very beginning. It's my belief that most of the "memories" that Max witnessed during her time in Henry's mind was made-up stuff to keep his mind from going to the the darkest moments of his deathly choices. I always thought that Henry/One/Vecna was a bitch for the Mindflayer. At least I had that part right. I also think that even if he wanted out, it was too late for him the moment the Mindflayer literally got into his skin. He thought he had control, but he didn't. The Mindflayer had him from the get-go. I wish, tho, that they would have expanded on that storyline. I wanted to know more. I will miss anticipating the next season...the next episodes... of Stranger Things. I will miss the characters, for sure. Just a side-note. I am a member of MasterClass, and the Duffer Brothers teach scriptwriting using Dustin & Steve going on an adventure to look for Dustin's missing Dad. Interesting easter egg with them going off on an adventure in an RV in the epilogue. lol Loved it. I was late to this reaction because I was with family for New Year eve & day, and the only thing that kept me from being really sad to leave them, was the anticipation of watching your reaction to this finale. I didn't watch not one other reaction on YT yet, because I wanted this to be the first. I'm glad you liked it more than you hated it. Love you guys. Happy New Year, Nikki & Steven!
