Not a spoiler but yes, The Kings are definitely in the game. That's all that I'll say about them/the game, etc, though, so as not to spoil anything from your playthrough.

He's also been in The White Lotus recently, and had some big scenes with Walton Goggins on that show, so those scenes with the Ghoul and the NCR are a little bit of a reunion there, too (apparently Walton Goggins and Jon Gries, the actor who plays Uncle Rico, go way back). But for me, first and foremost, he'll always be Lazlo Hollyfeld from the movie Real Genius.

great episode. Max should have told Thaddeus to throw in a few "Hot Dawgs!" to sell it. And that power core was not well guarded. Considering it is the entire reason for the plot. I do like where I think they are going with the story though. Love Zach Cherry is getting a bigger role.

I think this was absolutely the best episode of the season so far and loved basically every moment, but yeah, the fact that the cold fusion - which was the Big MacGuffin of season one - was entirely unguarded was the one thing that had me giving a little bit of side-eye. But, overall, great episode. The Lucy/Ghoul/Vault/Norm stuff aside, man, Aaron Moten just CRUSHED this episode, especially in his confrontation with Quintus. His distraught, borderline defeated sounding little, "I know..." when Quintus starts talking about how the "abominations" need to be exterminated was so good. And I love that, after last season showed that Dane, while a good person, was afraid to put their life in danger by going to the Wasteland (hence why they put a razor in their own boot), the show gave Dane a small but important brave and selfless scene in which they stayed behind to protect the youngest members of the BoS in order for Max and Thaddeus to escape. The Brotherhood stuff is typically my least favorite aspect of this show, but it was definitely my favorite in this one. Now, unrelated: we've finally gotten a Deathclaw. I need to know if they'll introduce Cazadors, the other biggest bane of my existence in New Vegas, into the series.

The guy you said looked familiar is John Gries, who played Uncle Rico in Napoleon Dynamite.

I’m just curious what makes you think they are holding back on the gore? Episode one was pretty gory right out the gate I thought. Either way this show is so badass and fun. I think they are doing an incredible job with flashbacks. One of my favorite parts about this season is diving into the lore and the world deeper and deeper. Great reaction!

I think the last Fallout game I played was New Vegas. One thing I remember very well is if you start the game and high tale it in a random direction and come across a Death Claw.... that's no bueno.
